Symmetra, Sombra, and Bastion have occupied the three lowest pickrates for basically the entire lifespan of overwatch

Symmetra

  • Teleporter fixes (Infinite teleporter nerfed her had). Either make the cooldown count down from deployment so it will be 2 seconds again or give her a reduced cooldown for destroying it. I don’t know who prayed for infinite Tele but she lost her survivability when it happened.
  • Projectile speed buff - Echo entered with an amazingly good feeling primary. It glides out of her hands and actually gives her great mid-range and decent long-range pressure. Symmetra’s gun doesn’t need to be as good as Echo’s of course but I think the speed of her bullets should scale with the charge, at least (full charge = slow, low charge = faster)

Bastion

  • Bastion Rework Idea - #3 by Mummyhead-11795 - this whole rework, basically.
  • Make Tank form just another transformation. Play into his character and give him more options aside from plop down and shoot or walk around and be a thick Soldier.
  • Make his ultimate be more supportive. His kit will be loaded with all of his different forms so his ult should be simpler and further enhance his base gameplay. Let him transform incredibly quickly and have a faster firerate between each mode.
  • My 2018 rework idea makes Bastion stronger and decreases his ability to pirate ship all game so really, people from both pro/anti Bastion camps should check it out.

Sombra

Make a decision on whether you want Sombra to be a more efficient DPS or a better hacker

DPS

  • Make her gun more accurate, tighten its spread or increase its range. She doesn’t have to feel like stealth Tracer. Attacking from the sides should feel effective until she gets pressured away.
  • Alternatively, take away her falloff damage. Widowmaker went 2 years before they gave her assault weapon falloff. Test if it helps Sombra feel better, and maybe leave her spread.

Hack

  • Make sure that visually, it is apparent that an enemy was hacked so your team will actually focus those targets
  • Play with making Hack uninterruptible to damage. Increase the activation time but make it so breaking LoS (or using barriers) is what interrupts it. This puts her ability more in line with Mei’s primary and makes Sombra feel less like Swiper from Dora the Explorer. “Aha! Found you, Sombra!” “Aawww, mannn…” translocates away
