Symmetra Buff Ideas

  • Beam Damage starts at 100 and goes up 40 per level.
  • Teleporter has increased usage range to 2-3 meters
  • Teleporter’s duration increased to 15 seconds

2 of these would be nice

With a 15 second teleporter you’ll have to give it a much longer cooldown.

Or better a short cooldown that starts after its destroyed. And make it possible for Sym to destroy it on will.

I would definitely like to see her left click stronger it does nothing atm and also like the ability to destroy your own teleporter just in case you were trying to be sneaky.

50 hours of 3 0 played in comp so far. My thoughts:

  • increase orb speed to 30 m/s (like we were promised

  • increase orb damage to 130, like we were promised

  • increasenumber of turrets we can store to to 6; keep numbwr we can deploy at 3. This compensates for bo cooldown change

  • increase range of turrets to 15 m (up from 10), to compensate for the 50% reduction in coverable area

  • increase primary range to 15 m, so u can acrually have a chance to get value from it

  • decrease ultimate cost to 1200 , and duration to 12 seconds

  • increase tele interaction radius by 5 m

Her #1 problem is that she now dies instantly to anything in the entire game. Why does every buff idea for her never address this?

Option 1 : Make her become close range DPS

Primary Fire

  • Increase range to 15m.
  • rework the ramp up mechanic,while Symmetra is firing at enemies,if enemies get closer hers beam will level up.
  • [damge per seconds / range between Symmetra and enemy]
    LV.1 [60 / <=10m]
    LV.2 [120 / 5m ~ 9.99m]
    LV.3 [180 / <5m]

Option 2 : Make her become barriers counter

Primary fire

  • Ramp up time has been reduced from 2s to 1s
  • While Symmetra firing at the barriers,her sheild her will regenerate at 20hps(LV1)/40hps(LV2)/60hps(LV3).

New Passive

  • Her primary fire & secondary fire will deal critical damage to barriers.

Because it is being addressed with the extra range. She has a small hitbox so she should overall be okay, honestly I don’t have that big of a problem.
