My graphics card crashed, I had to restart my PC. It took a while to reset, sure, but I was able to rejoin the game and we won regardless. After the game I still got suspended. Why?
I’d get it and am 100% OK with getting a penalty if it negatively affects the outcome of the game for other people (resulting in a loss), but it makes no sense to get a penalty when you rejoin and your team won the game.
Can some sort of differentiation be set in place for penalties? Only getting it in case of a loss or if someone else left because of you or something.
I think blizzard dev team should get some kind of code on the confirm button when players leave the match or quit the game mid-match, so they can at least predict if it was intentional or not.
Of course it’s just a prediction, because someone could quit the game in other ways, but at least they’d be sure who quit on purpose. It could be a step on a differentiation for penalty.
If it’s unintentionally but it still causes a loss I am literally fine with a penalty, but when you rejoin and win the game, there 100% should not be a penalty. It did not negatively affect anyone’s game.

People do that to clear stats thinking it’ll avoid being spotted as a cheater.
So no. Take it on the chin and remember it isn’t about you, it’s about the bigger picture

“C’mon now” yourself. Because what stats clear when you leave and rejoin a game…
Answers on a postcard.
the rule is you get 60 seconds to return to the game to avoid a leaver penalty.
