We need a tracer solution, we can’t make weak heroes more weak unless… you are ready to buff genji doom.
I dont get the problem - flankers flank, so do what you usually do and…shoot her? Just stay out of stun range? If she hits you with a whip, that’s your fault.

Yes exactly the thing is Briggite torbjorn can deny tracer but currently rush is meta so they do counter just tracer but then lose the team fights because they aren’t running bap lucio.

Release doomfist was insane and then there was that oh so brief period where he was meta and super obnoxious.
Just because they got nerfed alot doesn’t mean that role doesn’t need filled still. Its like saying pharah is trahs why so many hitscan? Answer because hitscan is fun.
Denying flankers is fun.

That is obviously true, but most support players are biased and want to have an easy time against dps here and want free win buttons. Bap ain’t even a support hes just a dps that heals and make people unkillable.

I don’t know where you are going with this, you are talking about the game with no counters and saying it’s the same when we have counters and the game has been changed drastically over time, I still don’t get how Brig is going to magically solve a problem if we buff her, I really don’t see how this is in anyway going to help more than hurting the balance.
The only way it could help is if you are selfish and want an easy way to just delete flankers as support, and it’s just because you don’t want to try, because every single support in the game other than Zen can peel for the other support or for themselves, requires skill, but so is going to the back lines in a risky play and getting a pick, you can always get help from your team which will make the fight a 6v5 in your favor, or you could switch to a hero which is better against flankers like Brig, but that hero should never be the easy way out, just give you the advantage, and Brig currently does that.

If you really wanted to talk you should’ve mentioned that your argument is “hero x killed me pls I hate hero x now I want hero x counter that counters hero x no matter how trash I play”
support players who think like that are most definitely delusional, if supports were better than dps at damage then there really is no use for dps at all.

Genji was good for 1 year.
Doom was good for 3 months total in the game’s life.
Brig was good for 3 years.

Are we back to the old “Bap is better than soldier” argument here? Soldier has 1 job and he’s better than Bap at it.
Bap has 2 jobs and has to split time between the 2. While he’s healing, he’s not damaging.
There’s not a single support that’s better at damage than a damage hero, plus they dont have time to damage because of healing.
