Supports refusing to support teams?

S9 brought in a need for supports to focus on sustaining a tram more and eliminated the need for them to make solo plays.

Yet there are still supports out there playing support like extra dps, or just support players in general who don’t even put forth the effort to sustain a team anymore.

Supports have had it easier for multiple seasons now. They should be feeling the intensity their teammates feel or the devs need to balance the experience across the board. Since literally turning dps or tank to those same laxed levels would be a nightmare for matches, they tuned down healing and now things feel more leveled then ever.

I’ve been loving it. Mercy is easier to kill supports are actually struggling rather than chilling like they used to. The sustain cheese is nuked hard.

Then the one shot and two taps have all taken a dive with brawl and poke comps struggling harder now.

Like it feels amazing to play dive right now or more defensive tanks.

Am I getting called out for my dps Moira or dps LW?

Yes I found much more value tossing out needles and orbs to supplement my gameplay.

Moira is slippery and has a self heal. This patch also brought up her TTK by increasing her damage.

The irony it hurts. In end you did get what you wanted.
Supports are more aggressive and have more intensity similar to DPS now.
