Kiriko’s compensation buff in particular IMO is actually really good for those who can aim. Since before, you used to do 112.5 damage per critical shot.

Multiply that by 2 and you still only did 225 damage. I’m not sure how much damage a melee does, but it probably wasn’t enough to finish off low health targets after double headshot.

Now, kiriko does 120 damage each critical headshot. Multiply that by 2 and you now deal 240 damage. You’ll still need to melee to finish off 250HP targets but with the recent health nerfs, more enemies will die from just dings now. Now to mention not everyone is full health all the time, so even if the enemy has 250HP, you might still be able to 2 tap them if they take small damage from allies.

Every other support also got compensation buffs too in damage along with HP nerf. The damage buff might not be as good for some, but it definitely was good for kiriko IMO.

The only hero that received unjustifiable nerf IMO is hanzo who I don’t really consider a “mobility” hero. I don’t even know why he got nerfed with no compensation buff. It’s good though that he can one shot more enemies now with the minor HP nerf.

I’m a bit worried though about sombra receiving compensation buff in virus damage. This might make certain supports like mercy even harder to play? Idk I’m not a mercy main but that’s the implication I’m feeling that could happen with these balance changes. Everything else seems fine, but I haven’t played the new patch though.
