Hi I’m here posting about a weird issue I’m having with my ping in Overwatch. 2 Months ago when I opened overwatch I was greeted with 150 ping which is out of the ordinary for me. A constant ping when I usually play is around 60-80. This issue has been ongoing for 2 months and I’ve tried playing the game and getting used to it but playing with 150 ping is horrible. I’ve checked and played other titles and my ping was normal (around 60-80 ping) so I’m not sure if it is just an overwatch issue. I do happen to know that I have friends in Cali so they play on West Coast servers rather than East coast. Whenever I play alone I have 150 ping and I’ve noticed im in West coast servers and whenever my friends play as a group instead of their ping jumping up from the server swap, its normal and we’re the ones suffering High ping. So I’m not sure if I’m just strictly being put into cali server over my East coast servers or what but I need help 
There are no servers on the West or East Coast, they are in Mountain Time and Central Time cities: Las Vegas and Chicago. If you have a bad connection to the Las Vegas server, the only remedy is to use a VPN or alternative network to attempt to lower the ping. Blizzard makes the game and pays to host it in the two cities I mentioned, but they can’t assist with the ping value you’re getting when connecting to either — you would need to discuss that issue with your ISP.
I also have just randomly started getting very high ping today. Every game I join atm is about 240-300ms and i’m playing on the right server/region. I tested my network and found no problems outside of Overwatch.
Every other game I play the ping is completely fine.
I’m confused plz help ;(
