I had a game where we were hazard Mei LW on koth lijiang control tower.
Basically they couldn’t get through the choke from their spawn between hazard wall, Mei wall, tree, blizzard, and thorns.
It’s definitely going to be a tactic for certain maps that have linear pathing.

its superfun, you should have been there a week ago in owc when we could stack walls.

They fail to realize that some people just play the characters they see being played in owcs

It’s crazy to see how people are still programmed to just not attack the wall.
My problem is that it’s starting to make people realize that Mei is good. I’m trying to stay under the radar with that pick!
now, imagine classic, where the entire other team was mei. aside from not being able to go anywhere because of 6 walls, even if you got close to killing one, they’d go ice block and heal to full.
we eventually beat them back and they had to swap out to a more normal team, but at the beginning it was terrible, all the walls everywhere
o7 to the original players who were here during OW1 season 1, with double Mei strats.
We can now get a v2 of that with a tank.

I forgot that you used to be able to play Mei like an off tank. I’m gonna miss her so much when they steal OW from me again

Meh, flanks exists. Regardless if people want to use them or not. You don’t have to full team role down one lane.
They even got rid of most of the maps with forced single chokes. No excuse to be dominated by walls anymore.
