That’s yikes. I’m not sure how often people get banned for being bad though. I played Zen and Sombra in mid bronze (very, very badly) and wasn’t banned. I was yelled at a lot, but that was about it.
It’s not yikes. I get reported for being bad, even when people are under the assumption I’m new to the game. They say he’s probably new look at his level report him. This community deserves people like me, because they create people like me. When I’m getting reported for legitimate playing, actually doing nothing wrong, the community deserves people like me.

Racial slurs are an issue. I will always report ‘kys’ and any racial slurs.
If you are confused about what is considered bannable by blizzard, look at the COC. They have a section about what is abusive chat and racial slurs are explicitly against the rules. If your account is ever reviewed the first thing they do is look at your text logs. That will secure a ban, even if the reports that put your account under scrutiny aren’t all valid.
I never said it wasn’t bannable. Blizzard is a private company who can make their rules as they want. My, and your, opinions are irrelivant as to what the rules actually are, as neither gets a say on what’s bannable.

Due to me breaking the rules, yes. Deserved bans. But, it’s not a yikes.

The only yikes is the actual racism against people of specific races not being able to say specific words due to the fact they’re not a specific race. That’s the only real yikes and oof.

I agree. Either all words are ok, or NO ONE should be allowed to say them.
I agree that there should not be laws that specify that some people can say words and others can’t. That would be an overstep and people should be able to say what they want.
Everyone is entitled to free speech (at least in the US). Everyone is also entitled to the consequences of their actions. Which include judgement and people saying you are yikes. It’s not hard to be respectful and it’s not hard to be likable.
I’m not yikes, and I handle consequences by carrying weapons to enforce freedom of speech.
You’re yikes and racist. Whatever excuses you want to tell yourself and whatever paper thin lies you want to tell yourself is your business.
I’m trying to give you the benefit of the doubt and be understanding of how hard it is for y’all going through school during this pandemic. Hopefully this is something that you grow out of. A good piece of advice someone told me when I was in high school is that only you are in charge of your integrity. No one can make you act badly or compromise your morals. So when you are about to do something that you know isn’t kind, consider whether the approval whoever you are trying to impress is worth your integrity. Most of the time it’s not.

I am totally okay with racist people thinking that not accommodating of hate speech is yikes.
Unfortunately, a lot of people are racist. That doesn’t make it alright. Never accept the world as it appears to be, dare to see it for what it could be.
