"Stop, thief!" Challenge is incompletable Bug Report

Has anyone had any luck with this challenge? I haven’t been able to get it even in games where we take all the batteries before the thieves even have a chance to grab it. Am I doing something wrong? UPDATE: I have now completed this challenge. Turns out you need to kill the Elite Jump Jets (Battery Thieves) before ANYBODY touches the batteries. Not just you, lots of people have this issue right now. I haven’t seen anyone that’s gotten it.
