Here is a fantastic change… STOP giving every hero all there perks in the final round in comp??? every single time I play this game. Everyone is actually playing a character they like and as soon as they see losing they switch to torb or some sort of turret hero. Take it away PLEASE. im tired of people switching to be lazy
you earn perks by not being a pleb. has nothing to do with what round you are in.
I have a better idea:
Make the perks a loadout system that we can change from round to round.
I really hope they do this for the coming season.

I had a Control match recently where we got our Major Perk in the 3rd Round. We needs those Perks a little sooner….
You want people to be punished even more for switching heroes? You want people to play without perks, perks that makes up like 30% of the hero enjoyment.

OP I want you to know that when I reach those tie breaking rounds, I do something extra!
So, I have max level on spawn, I pick my perks. Then I switch characters, to someone I might have to switch into. And I pick some perks for them too.
I do this for about 4 people. Before the spawn doors even open.

What do you even mean? I’m a solo queue person. You’re assuming a lot from this post. I’m just simply stating a terrible defect in perks on a final round. It doesn’t make any sense given a good team to have all perks unlock for ANY CHARACTER. Maybe the ones you played, but still.

A few things about the perk system, it’s a point system that builds as you do damage or healing. And the latter into the game the system rewards said points faster.
Swaps do need you to build up points, be it late game it’s not hard to get into level 3 mid fight. As the game still wants you to use counterswaps, and team synergies. And not feel like you are locked into a ineffective comp, just because you invested into perks.
It’s why some ult charge is carried over after swapping.
Again, my point is ALL CHARACTERS. Why not limit to the characters they played 90% the match? or at least unlocked perks in the match

Perk exp is increased later in the match and also for killing someone who is a higher perk level than you. It’s pretty extreme you can build minor perk very fast but major still usually takes a couple of minutes
The Devs need to add a mechanic that if you are on the team that is getting Stomped (fast-moving payload, lots of team deaths, lots of lost Capture points), the Perk level increases say 25% more than the enemy team. That way, it would at least give the losing team a slightly better chance of turning the match around.
Not true. At least in hybrid and escort, in the third round and beyond you get all perks, even if switch heroes.
