It’s because they messed up big time. By Chinese law foreign company is required to be in partnership with local company, if they are to bring their game to China. After they caused multiple issues for their local partner, they have issues with finding new one.

Cause one couldn’t believe OW2 had better numbers by being different than OW1 and they would keep that frustration in their minds for one year just to “warn” people and totally not to try to get some light about being on the rage train cause they have nothing better to do with their lives.
Is that why they overhauled WoW for example? If they did not care about China why make clients for China?
If they cared that much they would pay. They have more than enough money to do that, lol. It wasn’t worth their money to do it though.

It’s not about money - they caused issues with CCP for their partner. I don’t think even they can pay enough for company to compensate for risk of possible arrest and execution.

U know WoW has its own client in China? Developed to remove and alter anything not allowed? Why would a company do all that if they did not care.

Either there’s moderation and it means someone reads what the forum says (and remember the times dev blog directly answered what was on the forums), either its abandoned and all devs trying to fix their games is luckily aligned with forum complains.
If you think people need to go to steam to say how they feel about Blizzard, in a world with Twitter, Youtube and tons of other social medias and even press told about players getting angry, I’m proud to tell you, they don’t need to go to steam to show they’re angry.
If blizzard wanted to be in china they would be in china. Unless they get a deal that makes sense money wise (which i think they finally did) it doesn’t make any sense. I don’t know why I even bother explaining things to you sometimes lol
Because it’s not where money can actually help you. They had fall out with nearly only company, that was willing to take such risk. And for worst possible reason, too.

Like the last time a Blizz dev posted here was on May 22, '2021 lol, they do not read what’s discussed here at all, the forum provides 0 feedback and people then used steam as with steam its IN BLIZZARDS FACE and they cant do anything about it but fix their mess of a game.
If they fix their game watch the reviews turn positive, instead they refuse to reflect and blame it on review bombing because the fault is never with the bad development.
Blizzard made another client version of WoW just for the Chinese market, this is not private servers or anything thing, no this is Blizzard and their dev team altering the normal WoW client to align with the demands of China.
Don’t gaslight us that Blizzard does not care, even for cooperate simping that is to far to pretend.
