Standing Together and Celebrating Pride

If my game broke the laws in another country by…checks notes…not being against adults living their lives peacefully, I’d gladly allow my game to get banned there.

We need to stop pandering to those primitive hellhole countries.

which is why you will never run a successful business

not everything is about you people you know, you’re really gonna let millions of people not play the game because you don’t feel like the center of attention, very childish mindset.

There are plenty of countries that don’t deserve being blasted from the face of the Earth to make me money

I don’t care if I’m losing the money of people that would gladly kill me or people like me.

I don’t care about being the center of attention, I care about the fact that those countries are despicable and quite simply disgusting by nature. I don’t pander to hate, sorry not sorry.

Thank you for the event and the free goodies.

The toxic Genji players are going to spawn trap me. :sob:

Bud Light is a successful business and they also gave a massive middle finger to the primitive people I’m referring to. Many businesses don’t bow to hatred and they do fine. Blizz certainly would as well, if they had the actual spines to do it.

they also canned the executive who came up with that advertising campaign. when your stock plummets by the billions, heads are bound to roll.

And they shouldn’t have.

They lost some customers, but overall they did fine. Making money should not come before taking a stand against disgusting “people”.

is this the kind of business advice they give in art schools these days?

But they did and just because they are still up and running doesn’t make people forget about all the money they lost. Also not sure why you are comparing OW to budlight? OW is a game played by a huge diversity of people, budlight is just a drink.

It’s the kind of advice you get from someone that hasn’t let greed corrupt them. Money should not come before people’s lives. By pandering to those countries, we’re insuring that they don’t change.

so what about all the sales reps who lost their jobs due to the lack of sales because of the campaign?

do you see where your argument falls flat here?

They weren’t murdered in the streets, imprisoned, or executed. So I’d still rather some unlucky people have to find new jobs than significantly worse things happening to others.

Huh? Overwatch is just an alternative Mahvel. Bud light is WAY bigger. Not only that, but Beer Bros aren’t as into LGBT as people who play this game with such a diverse cast. I do not get the comparison either, but I believe adding Pride to those countries would do less damage than they did when they were actually trying to make money.

You guys so passionate about their stock during Pride month but pretend you ain’t see nothing when they added that pay to win cringe. L

and that is not happening where i live, most likely where you live, and most likely where a vast majority of forum users live.

Proud transgender Overwatch player here…

It seems someone forgot to invite Venture to the pride photoshoot of the heroes as the first trans non-binary hero. :disappointed_relieved:
