yeah but if it’s removed neither team will have it, so it evens out.
that’s the 1/100. the other 99 times you would get mercilessly stomped in that situation.
totally the same thing, dude. how dare I want my favorite game to be the way I like.
I’m saying to delete it because the design is stupid for a number of reasons I’ve listed + it takes people away from the other game modes. if they fix the issues it could be fun enough. still not what overwatch is supposed to be imo but it would be better, at least. seems like other than about the inflammatory title, we’re in agreement, though.
that just hasn’t been my experience. almost all games have been completely one-sided. by comp or by players. it was like that yesterday, and again today; I played 2 games today. 0-4 and 4-0. (I’m sticking to just playing support to protect my mental though, hah). and I never just play what I want, I’m always thinking what works best against the opposing team. but it usually makes very little difference.
I never said I give up. but that’s what makes it even more draining. making an actual effort when you’re playing an - in multiple ways - unwinnable match. what you’re describing is like a pipe dream. it just doesn’t work that way. “if you believe hard enough, maybe you can make a difference!! just don’t tilt!” like okay listen bro, I’m not Goku. I can only take so much ridiculous positioning from teammates, lack of healing, etc. etc. before it takes its toll.
and you can just tell, you know. whether it’s possible to turn things around, or if it’s completely unwinnable because your team’s comp just doesn’t work against the enemy team, or because your teammates are just doing everything wrong/are getting hard diffed by their counterparts.
Nah lol. You can’t 1v5 in Overwatch. It’s not CS. Maybe if the stars align and the enemy team isn’t looking at you for a bit and you hit a bunch of headshots in a row, but not typically. That rarely happens. Even like dafran i.e. would struggle making a meaningful impact in those kinds of one-sided games.
well that I don’t mind so much. but people leaving after the first round and you then having to sit through 3 more rounds 5v4 or 3 (cause often someone else will then also leave) is very dumb.
From the way they interacted with each other in chat, language they spoke, player names/icons, etc. It’s happened a handful of times that I’m like 99% certain of.
I’m not entirely opposed to it but I’m not sure it’s a great idea, I’m not really a people person. well, mostly I’m just very depressed and don’t have the energy to maintain friendships, I guess. teamwork has never been an issue for me outside of stadium though, and I’ve played teamwork-based games in the past, some even at a high level.
