Boggles my mind why they wouldn’t finally bring a mode where you could earn comp points with console friends its so dumb. THIS MODE IS NOT A ‘COMPETITIVE’ EXPERIENCE. REIN CAN FLY. Let us play with who we want.

Yeah Stadium is too rigid currently.
I read in another thread that people are not allowed to re-queue after leaving a game that has leaver, until the match ends.
They need to cook it better tbh.

I just found this out when I went to go try it with my husband since I play on console and he plays on PC. We always play together so it really stinks that we can’t even try out the new mode together.

i mean maybe if you want the mode to become a temporary event. But if you want it permanently crossplay is the only way it’ll last.

i was looking forward to playing all day. it sucks finding out that there is no play right when you try to queue. please reconsider this.

good crossplay is awful
So stupid, my girlfriend plays on PlayStation and I play on PC. We’ve played hundreds of hours of quick play together. Crossplay never has felt like a detriment to either of us. We’re both excited to play the new mode and now we’re both mad that we can’t play together. The whole point of online video gaming is that it is a social experience that you can enjoy with your friends. Huge L for the new mode IMO, and I have no reason to play it if I have to play solo. Just add a quick play/arcade version of the new mode that still counts towards the related quests. Not everyone cares about climbing ladders or gaining ranks, and using that as an excuse to split up friend groups is ridiculous for something that is supposed to be a fun way for friends to spend time having fun.

Build ur GF a pc? its what I did and not hard if you have a job, you dont need something expensive if its mainly for playing OW
i don’t know why it doesn’t even have a leader board, it should just completely open no one is gonna be mad about losing their stadium rank to a guy with aim assist

Cuz that was the case before, and having them on your team was a huge disadvantage. Consoles needs aim assist to be comparable to mouse and keyboard. Controllers are just bad peripherals for shooters.
Comp only was a mistake, this mode NEEDS to have a QP option.

And I just find these challenges counter-intuitive. Make it a comp mode, put a shiny legendary lootbox (clearly to populate the mode) and then make it full of “win as every role”. I’m always told comp is the super cereal mode and yet they want me to play Ashe, who I’ve played once in a group when she launched and maybe in mystery heroes, and win with her.
I feel like this is sabotaging the mode.

Kind of happy for once that they didn’t allow it to be crossplay, its also fun to leave Statdium cause there’s no penalty, I’ve left 3 times now and no penalty. Sad I was hoping to use this mode to get my comp seasonal ban but its not working.
i think because of the way stadium functions, crossplay shouldnt be an issue. if skill gap with aim is so bad then they can just make perks that work more for abilities or such idk. it might be harder in higher ranks but stadium isnt meant to be a sweaty gamemode to me bc of the progressive ranking system 
i also rlly rlly love playing with my boyfriend and its rlly upsetting because i have to choose between my favorite game mode or playing with him since hes on console.

There is likely a significant number of players who are locked out of stadium simply because its ranked only. This was a strange decision in my opinion.
My group was excited to try it out, only to realise we couldn’t.
As far as I’m aware, you can use controllers on pc fps so I don’t see why consoles cannot join pc players in comp. If Blizzard doesn’t want to make that change for standard comp, they should at least allow it for Stadium since it’s a unique mode where the comp side doesn’t really matter.
R6 Siege separates console ranks and pc-crossplay ranks for crossplay players - they could do the same here.
It would make the game so much better to allow friends to play together in all modes.
