i find it annoying that i cant play stadium with my friends… just bc they are console, being ranked only is cutting us from enjoying it together…
add a unranked mode or let console Q with us

same here, me and my friend use overwatch as one of the few games we can play togeather (pc and switch) and this has killed almost all the hype i had building up for stadium

I’m talking about the fact that it is not competitive. It is simply ranked. W/L only. There is no competitive matchmaking involved.

The whole thing about it being ranked or competitive or whatever is just silly.
It’s a game mode.
Make a game mode that works crossplay.
That’s it.
Make a queue for it in the unranked section.
How is this so hard?

It is a competitive game mode.
Maybe they will make a quick play mode for console players. Just like what we have in quick play.
But as of now this is strictly comp.

Because if the vast skill gap.
It is not fair for the pc players. I am kind glad they did this so now I don’t have to play 6v6.
And it is not either me getting stomped or me stomping in quick play.
They should keep this mode separate if they want reveal quality interactions between players.
Not sure yet but Emong said a high rank player can que with low ranked player. Not entirely sure what he means.

Doesn’t matter for me, because I tried it once and won’t ever again. It’s just Overwatch with more steps. Extended perks, extended rounds, extended viewpoint. Extended grief. All the same issues are present but you get to suffer them longer.

i play overwatch every day with my sister (she is on console) we were so hyped for the new fun mode, and now we either go back to normal mode, or we play solo… very nice blizzard, leave it to you guys to some how mess it up…

I play with my friends on the daily and the most disappointing thing was seeing that I can’t play this mode with them.

It means it isn’t actually competitive.
Your rank in the game mode is not your rank.
It’s a ladder you go up on win and do nothing on loss until a point then it’s even and so on.
Your actual skill rank is all done behind the scenes and in no way related to that.
So imagine this.
You play comp you see yourself go up or down by a percentage based on the competition you played against. In this that is not the case the gain and loss are set based on the outcome only.
It is therefore not competitive but ranked. This is a ranked ladder not a competitive mode.
They call it competitive because they want a 15 minute leaver penalty but that comes with the baggage of it being not cross play. There is literally 0 reason to do it this way.
