Hi everyone,
Recently during my stadium ranked game, I’ve been exposed to a shop bug. It doesn’t pop up after a round. No possibility to enter it with the usual commands.
Then, the next round starts, and I got no HUD: no health bar (allies and opps), no timer, no track of the game’s progression…
Even the sound in game is weird. No commentator nor music…
I have to quit the game and relaunch it to fix it. Sometimes it happens 3 rounds in a row (and so the time taken to relaunch the game makes me miss the shopping time….).
It’s kind of anoying, is anybody having the same problem? I have some screenrecs and screenshot of the bug also.
This occured on PS5, I didn’t try Ranked Stadium on PC this season.

I am playing on Xbox console and I have this same issue when playing Stadium Ranked.
No HUD so I can’t see health bars, who is alive or dead, or round progress.
I can’t open the game scoreboard during the match.
Before the game starts I cannot access the Armoury to pick abilities.
If the game ends on a round with a bugged UI/no armoury, then no “play of the game” is shown or match results. The screen freezes on whatever I was last looking at. The animations for battle pass and stadium progress after the match skip too
In this bugged state I can emote and send messages during play. After the match I can still endorse others.
The issue will happen for one round but then resolve itself at the start of the next round.
I’ve had the issue happen multiple games this week since the new update.
Can confirm I see all the same issues as OP too with sound and commentating.

This just happened to me in ranked on PC. It also happened to my friend on PS5 the other day.

On PC when I join a Stadium game everything is fine for the first round. After that I load into the next round but the shop never opens and no matter how many times I press ‘H’ it doesn’t pop up. Once the shop closes and the next round begins I am able to play the round with my team but many things are not working correctly.
During the round I noticed the following:
-Extreme lag, people floating through the air or teleporting at times, unable to see Mei’s ice walls and many other effects
-No Stadium announcer
-Unable to bring up the score screen screen with Tab
-Weapons sound effects are not timed correctly or nonexistent
-No nameplates or lifebars making it very difficult to tell who is on my team
This only happens in Stadium, I haven’t noticed it in QP or Comp other than one time I played a Comp game after having this experience in a Stadium game and it seems like it carried over or something.
The first round of Stadium is always perfectly normal which tells me its probably not something on my end. My Latency ranges from 20ms to 50ms the majority of the time. It definitely seems like something strange happens at the end of Stadium round that triggers it.
To give a little more color, this It doesn’t happen every game, sometimes I can go 10 or 20 games, maybe more with no issues. There have been some instances where I can play multiple rounds and the issue begins later in the match. There have been a small % of instances where it fixes itself after a couple rounds.
I have tried ALT+F4 and rejoing that game but it doesn’t help.
EDIT: I can’t pinpoint when I began noticing this but I feel like there was a period, maybe the first season or maybe first 2 seasons of Stadium where I don’t remember it occuring.

I’ve never experienced that before this season on my end… but since the start of it, I’ve experienced the bug almost every single game.
But yeah you make a good point with the latency. Mine do not changes during the game also, about 30ms.
I thought it might be an input problem but even after changing my ethernet cable, the bug still occurs.
I am a bit relieved some other experienced that, bc my mates were not believing me when I said I just COULDN’T open the shop nor see healthbars…
Hope this wil be patched soon

I think there might be a pattern where Alt+Tabbing increases the likelihood of it happening.

Also I have noticed that a lot of times everything is fine and then I will lag really bad right as a round is ending and then it will be the following shop phase where things are not working properly. From that point some % of the time it will fix itself and let me open the shop but after a long delay, ranging from ~10 seconds to nearly the entire shop phase. If it does fix itself the round proceeds as normal with no apparent lag and then almost 100% of the time the same issue will occur at the end of the next round - lag as the round as ending and then a delayed or non existant shopping period.
The occurences where it doesn’t fix itself during the shopping window are the worst b/c the whole next round will be really laggy as I described in the post above and everything will pretty much always be bricked for the rest of the match.

Happens to me on normal stadium. For some reason round 4 every time. Really annoying cos like the mode but can’t play it (on pc)

same. every 4th round i cant see the hud, my armory, anything. any fix on this?

In my stadium match, I can’t access the armory and I can’t equip myself. It’s been like this for over a week. I don’t have a HUD and I can’t see my allies’ health bars. Please fix this.

I have the same issue. I’m on Xbox one, I’ve even tried reinstalling but to no avail. Sometimes I get bugged out for 3 or 4 rounds in a row. The first round has always seemed to work but beyond that has been a gamble in both competitive and quick play stadium.
It’s made the game quite literally unplayable when it comes to stadium. This is clearly a huge issue across multiple platforms and consoles. Can we at least get an ETA on a fix for this issue?!?

A bit of speculation here but I think it might have started when they introduced QP to Stadium

Just had a similar experience for the first time on Xbox, loaded into a game as a back fill & no shop popped up & after we loaded into the next round I still couldn’t & I was switched to mercy even though I picked Moira

OMG yes! The same problem,
I thought it only happened on my account.
What can I do? Has Blizzard released any information?
This is happening to me on PC in stadium, competitive mode.

Haha no,
This has been an issue for awhile (Start on this seasons launch or earlier ive heard) and they have not addressed or even acknowleged the issue whatsoever, despite the fact the bug fourms are basically all about this issue.

the issue with the stadium ui/armory not showing up after a few rounds has not been resolved yet despite today’s patch notes. I started playing stadium again because I thought it was fixed but the problem was still there and i couldn’t open armory. For which i had to leave the match and come back multiple times to fix it which resulted in me being banned for 1 hour. how is this fair?
