Spectating has been broken ever since the addition of hero progression cards being forced on screen during replays. It gets even better since there is no way to rebind the hide/show button for the card or disable it entirely. Whenever you start to watch a friends live game you have maybe 1-5 seconds to swap to whoever you want to spectate and then you’re locked on that person unless you leave and try again.
I doubt this ever gets fixed, or if it does it’ll be in 6 months. God forbid there’s a bug in game that doesn’t affect gameplay or is fun (the funny codes for example) cause those will get patched as soon as possible.
