Hey all, 190ish hour Sombra main nerd here.
I have to say, the speed of Sombra is one of the most exciting aspects of her play style. I kind of feel like one of those cheesy cyber punk hackers you see in a movie or book frantically trying to break into the system etc. If that was removed, it would just ruin Sombra’s KEY playstyle strategy. The faster you are, the better Sombra you will be for yourself and your team.
The time limit on her stealth is another aspect that makes her playstyle exhilarating in a way. You only have so long to get in, do damage before youre spotted. It just seems lame to have that power of being invisible forever. Stalling the point is one of Sombras main advantages over almost any other player in the game, although not overpowered since it is only for a few seconds.
Anyway I just heard about this about ten minutes ago, and it has made me a bit sad. Personally though, I should just get on with my life since I derive so much of my entertainment to this amazing hero.
