People “practicing” in QP ironically renders it almost completely useless for actual practice.
All it lets you do is practice map specific roll outs and the specific mechanics of a hero, and both of those are better practiced in other modes, like FFA.

Quite right. Actually, the existence of people who focus on winning in qp is making it possible for them to “practice” in qp. If everyone is goofing off i dont think you can “practice” anything in qp that you cant get at custom games or ffa deathmatch.

Then u go to lfg with ur friends and force 2-2-2 so u can get a quality games. Don’t expect ppl to fill each time in qp they wanna play heros and practice. Just because they won’t switch doesn’t mean they aren’t trying

Friends aren’t always online and ready to play. I want quality games every time I join the queue, whether I’m playing solo or with friends.
I’m okay if they’re trying.
What i’m not okay if they are goofing off and feeding or doesnt even try to group up and focus on the objective.

practice is NOT an excuse to turn quickplay into deathmatch… go play arcade and learn your heroes there. many people are better off going against AI anyway… so sick of these selfish dps instalockers who dont do s… and then trying to find excuses for their poor behavior.

So long as they’re focused on the objective, who cares if they want to practice and not swap? Don’t expect people to swap in QP.

fight to win and most players in QP wont care how badly you play a hero. but if you are only practicing yeah expect to be reported. It is blantently obvious and most of the games im in the player/players in question get called out for it. (Aussie servers are known the same motto as the State of origin Rugby) State versus State, Mate vs Mate."

Why aren’t you practicing in death match where there aren’t 5 people to fix your mistakes.
Cause if it isn’t DM skill than “practicing” in a game mode where noone “including yourself” isn’t trying will make you worse.
Inb4 people just use “practice” as an excuse cause they don’t want to admit to themselves that they’re just being selfish

Practicing is fine so long as they help with the objective. If people want to run 5 dps, that’s fine; I’ll just run Support or Tank.
If they’re just feeding, not contributing to the objective and only going after kills then that’s a problem but otherwise practicing is fine.

Some of the times the 5 dps are scattered around the map and i’m the only one pushing the payload lol.

If that happened to me, I’d straight-up leave the match.
It takes time to learn a hero. Quick play is the best place to practice in terms of getting used to the hero. You’re gonna have to get used to this in quick play. If you want something like that, go to competitive mode. You can still have fun there as long as you make it fun.
Dont forget that playing poorly (not intentionally), or refusing to switch off of a hero is not a reportable offense. So, you’re going need cold hard proof on a player to prove they are throwing.
As long as they are making an effort to do some damage, there shouldn’t be a problem. You could die over and over again, but get some hits in with a hero and it will still contribute to the team.

Yep, that’s why qp exists.
