Mercy also had a voiceline when she killed more than 3 enemies in a row: “this is actually funny” or something like this, at least in portuguese, idk if this voiceline exists (or existed) in other languages.

I’ve never heard that one, but in the English version of the game she has one that’s “I’m surprisingly good at this.” or something along those lines, probably the same one. Sometimes it’s translated a bit different out, hehe.
I mean, fair enough if you enjoy it! Personally, if there’s no story there’s no point to these interactions, there’s no point to making compelling characters in this game any more… Because there’s no story mode/TV series. These “what if” scenarios don’t do anything for me or make sense to me as someone who ultimately prefers story games over PvP only games.

I read. I read their novels, that come out, I read their wiki, I watch people, who do their lore from everything - even things on their skins or maps, from their sprays, etc…
I don´t get people like you, who don´t see point in it, but I guess we are different. I am RP/DnD player, someone, who read a lot and soak up any lore like a sponge, lol.

Imagine Elden ring, the lore and the story is all there for you to learn from the internet. But the game only consists of the PvP arena. With no way to explore the world where all of the lore is. That’s how I feel about overwatch.
But elden ring is a different kind of game (never played it, I just assume), while OW is strictly PVP.
And there is lore hidden in the game. If you remember, our convo started by you saying, that you don´t see the point in the characters interractions. There is so many things on their skin, or hidden on maps, that just intrigue me to go and search for their meaning and story.
Sure, pve mode would be nice, but I´ve been here, when we had archives and remember lore from that too.
i didn’t know superheroes needed to be depressed 24/7… damn, i shouldn’t have relied on those comic books!
