In seriously i wouldnt say anything because every Player can play the Hero they want and shouldn get blamed because of a Hero Pick and if i lose a Match because of this Symmetra Player im still fine whit it.
I also love the new Symmetra in my Team because her teleporters are really fun to use :slight_smile:

and i also cant taking comp seriously anymore lol

This is stupid.

Games had rules created by community to enjoy it more and to have better competitive games, thats why we have stuff like “coordination” or picking what is best for the team

and everything that happens in this game is “created” by majority, people picking 2heal 2 tanks 2 dps, or overall picking good composition, There isnt a rule that says that you MUST have tank or support, but people still pick it

There is no rule to heal as supports or defend/use your shields as Tanks, you can dps or do some dumb sh/t

but no1 doest that because people who do are the minority, like what you said"if i want to pick third dps and do nothing as sym on attack, i will do because I BOUGHT THIS GAME"

so since its minority why majority should care about these people and not treat them as something that should be removed.

im serious some people think that they are “special” and only they matter in this world, especially when they interact with others or overall people are involved.

Symmetra brings utility no other hero does - team positioning. Most fights are fought over chokes, high grounds and accessways. Symmetra can completely break the enem team simply by not playing by the rules of that map. She is a perfect deathball piece.
She can get an entire team behind a choke on a high ground in Hanamura - the map infamous for the first point hold - and completely break the defense. Same with Volskaya or Anubis. She enables team’s positional advantage.
Literally the only thing She needs to absolutely break the defenders is for her team to work with her.

Positional advantage is a huge thing in OW. And she just straight up doesn’t play by the map’s rules. She makes a Rain shield war completely one sided. She has a huge impact. Unfortunatelly, she is very team dependent. If her team doesn’t know how to play the game than she will of course be useless. If you think Sym is weak or useless, than you admit you are completely clueless about the entire strategic layer of the game.

“coordination” isn’t exclusive to certain heroes. You can play any hero and still “coordinate” with the team.

Thats different. If people want to pick sym and do nothing, Thats “Throwing / Trolling / griefing / gameplay sabotage” That is a reportable offence.

Picking sym and playing her to the best of the players ability isn’t throwing. Wether that hero pick is the best choice for that scenario or not.

Honestly I’m ok with having a Sym on my team - as long as they’re willing to swap if it doesn’t end up working out.

Had a game on one of my alt accounts yesterday where a sym TP won us the game. She communicated with us to tell us when she’d put it up, we all went on point with it at the same time and steamrolled.

I like having a Sym - her TP opens the door to a lot of interesting teamplay.

Let them play Sym sure but let’s not suck up, guy. Sym is still on the weaker side.

Sym can actually be a great pick in some situations. Volskaya attack for example, or hanamura. It takes a little creativity to make the most of her kit

NO

its a community rule, because its been proven that it helps thats why its better to do that instead of whatever thing YOU want to do

and its like that with stuff you dont like like picking heroes so overall whole team benefits from it and not what YOU like

im not saying that instead of playing DPS you like you should pick only Hanzo

im saying that if you have 2/2/1 and you instead of picking another healer/tank you pick third dps and wonder why people complain, maybe you should use your brain a little

because as i said youre not alone in this game and dont try or make yourself “special”, because if you do, you are and always will be a minority.

See what their impact is in the first minute of the game and react to that impact… I would give them a chance. You never know

Sym is my favorite and most played character and I agree with you. 10 seasons she is still objectively bad. They managed to make a weak character even worse, I didn’t think that was possible. Sym 3.0 is just useless, any DPS does the job better than her. Haven’t played Sym since the rework hit live.

If I see someone go Sym in comp, I will do the same I do with every Widow player I run into. I give them a chance to prove they can be effective, before asking if they can change.

No matter how much some people like to whine constantly about her being useless, she can be effective, and the teleporter can be a great way to get your team around dangerous areas.
