Or Zarya’s Dragon Ball Z reference?

What crap lol…

Oh no, people keep asking me to heal them when I play healer. I can’t take this crap!

I know right. I even bought her new all star skin for literally no reason. I’m not even rich…

I played Mercy for the first time in awhile yesterday. Even used the pink skin which I rarely do, just to use this voice line. As much as I like it, it still feels like a chore to play her. But they keep giving her good cosmetics, I won’t give up on her.

Yeah that’s the point. She’s a healer. She understands and knows her role. She doesn’t need to be constantly told to do it by every single person on the map. Imagine a firefighter trying to put your house fire out with you and your whole family standing there and yelling “put the fire out! Put the fire out! Put the fire out!” the entire time. Its obnoxious and uncessary. Obviously he’s trying to put the fire out. He knows what he’s doing, let him do it.

Every grade school kid and up knows homework needs to be done, but many still need to be told that repeatedly, because the homework isn’t done.

Not everyone plays perfectly, healers included. The same flaws that many tanks/dps have, healers have as well, such as lack of awareness and tunnel vision.

Getting I need healing spams is 20% toxic dps/tanks and 80% bad healers. The better you are at healing, the less spam you get.

The better you are the less spam you get is true, I agree with that, but it’s just not at all what most healers experience in the day to day. Because there are too many big egos in this game that have a “me first, me now” attitude, regardless of the healers skill level. They’re not spamming because the healer is bad, homie. They’re spamming because in their mind they’re the most important person out there and their ego can’t fathom that the tank might need healing before they do. God forbid there’s some sort of priority queue, right? Especially with just 1 healer on the floor.

Children might need to be told to do their homework, but, you know, they’re children. An adult that is currently doing their job shouldn’t need to be told to continue doing their job. Especially not by the same person more than once in a 5 second period. Say it once and wait. Anything more is just an indication that that player is impatient and has no sense of what’s happening around him or her.

It’s overused because it exists. There should be a “need shielding!” and “kill someone!” voicelines to make things square. Everyone should have the ability to spam at someone else to do their job if the healers have to hear it.

Granted these things may not occur as often in high ranks, but that’s not where the majority of us play.

And Mercy players have always dealt with more than just spam, more than any other main. We both know that. Both in game and in the forums. Hell, not 1 hour ago someone called me a Mercy main because I said I think Lucio Ball is bad. Like, what? Why?

I respectfully disagree.

Wrong. Kids know, that they need good grade. They also know, that besides actually doing homework, there are other ways to get good grade. Like copying homework of someone else, for instance.

I still think it’s not a patch on TF2’s Medic’s “Did ze Fräuleins have zeir Mittelschmerz?” line.

I get it. It’s still edgy, on brand, and a bit boring. Like Reaper getting a Linkin Park line

Ohhh, I LIKE IT!!!
That was too funny by the way :smile_cat:

Genji main, isn’t even out of Spawn yet, and Spamming “I need healing” and all through the match. Yeah, sort of 80% toxic (at least) and 20% bad healing because of all the unnecessary Spamming from Genji (replace with Hanzo, McCree, etc. but mainly Genji for some reason) resulting in I didn’t hear any other Hero using “I need healing” over the constant Spam.

I mained support for over 10 seasons and I’ve gotten that kind of players, but only once in a blue moon.

If you are citing a one time thing (or a rare thing), let it go.

If you are saying that’s a common occurrence, that you come across that kind of players frequently, the problem is you.

Not really, she has a lot of snarky lines and several of her elimination lines are downright mocking.

Yeah and they give her a more defined personality IMO. She is good at keeping her patience, but she is bad at regaining it once lost.

Ez, spam shift and hope you don’t GA into that random Rein who just charged from outside of the map

Mercy, Torb, and Symmetra definitely got some funny voice lines.

Try this one on for size:
“For the last time, I’m Swedish TOO HOT FOR YOU”
