Some question about reevaluation

“string”

“visible to and string”

“visible to, color, and string”

does these 3 things cost the more server load when more kind of value to reevaluation?

or they just all cost the same amount of server load?

Having Reevaluation enabled for something that doesn’t need to reevaluate does increase the server load, compared to having it disabled, but the difference shouldn’t be notable unless you have 50+ HUDs with all Reevaluations enabled and then go through and disable the ones you don’t need.
Then you might notice a difference.

The server load can greatly differ from what you do / how often it happens.
As long as we don’t have a sterile environment, in which we exactly know what the server is doing, we can’t really tell if X has higher server load than Y.
Most cases have different outcomes even if they are doing something similar, the best we can do is repeated testing.

May this is a follow up to your recent post/thread on server load; Some question about server load - Workshop Discussion - Overwatch Forums (blizzard.com);

As Teawy suggested, testing your implementation for a mode, should give you sooner or later an insight of what might be come stressy for the server. Over time it might also become more clear by trial and error or experiencing some limitations of the workshop, what your mode should look like and could become, by gaining that it becomes even more easier to determine what is the optimal way by putting your view into a more predictable frame box. And by any burden you can come here again check by and try to help you if we can.:slight_smile:
