I’ve played a handful of hours in Competitive Play as Sombra this season and frequently encounter issues, especially with her Hack ability. It has a tendency to randomly interrupt itself half-way through the hacking process when it shouldn’t. As well as this, Sombra’s Hack is cancelled by small objects (and sometimes even nothing) as they are able to break her LOS for some reason. A developer has stated that Sombra’s Hack should not be interruptable by small objects such as light posts, yet her Hack is now interrupted by a large amount of small objects in the game.
Developer Comments: We’re also removing the 0.1 second window of time during a hack where it couldn’t be canceled via line of sight or with other abilities including Tracer’s Recall and Zarya’s Particle Barrier, which was originally put in place so the hack wouldn’t be interrupted by small objects such as light posts. We’ve implemented a separate fix for that issue, so she should still be unaffected by those small objects.
Here’s a clip of Sombra’s hack being cancelled by a light post after her nerfs:

Another alarming issue is the fact that even after the nerf that removed Sombra’s 0.1 seconds of grace-period on Hack, she can still hack through some things that block LOS. For example, here’s a clip of a Sombra player hacking through a D.Va who has ejected:

And here is a clip of the same Sombra player hacking through Mei’s Cryo-Freeze:

Lastly, here’s a clip that showcases a blatant issue with Hack that shows that these issues need immediate fixing:

Overall, the point I want to make is since the nerfs, Sombra (especially her Hack ability) feels extremely tedious and clunky to use. I really hope Blizzard takes another look at Sombra, because the state she is in right now isn’t fun to use. Her Hack is not functioning correctly.
