I don’t disagree that Sombra shuts down Lucio way too hard. It’s ridiculous. But they’re technically different kinds of abilities. It’s like if Sombra’s hack disabled Reaper’s lifesteal from his attacks.
its really a consistency issue. all the other supports can heal with primary fire and not affected by hack that much. (when it comes to healing output)
But for lucio, hack is like the “NO FUN” button and cant really do anything.
If they changed hack to include Inspire, then not only would people shut up about brig being to strong (she isnt, she has many counters such as pharah, junk even a good tracer can destroy a brig).
It’s not, hack disables passives that require a button to activate (crossfade, wall ride) but it doesn’t disable passives that don’t require a button to activate (Mercy regen) nor passives that activate with the primary fire (Moira and Reaper’s life steal)
Why are you guys looking at consistency? If So, a hacked junkrat wouldn’t release bombs on death and reaper wouldn’t self heal, obviously there is no consistency
Which is why it’s inconsistent. Crossfade already had an interaction beforehand: it would lock Lucio to whichever aura he was currently on.
By changing the interaction, Blizzard treated it like a Button-Press passive, which Crossfade is not. It is a standard ability that already had an interaction.
With how OP Brig is currently, it needs to be tied together.
Her Jack-of-All-Trades esque type of hero is okay, but like, she needs to be toned back 20 notches because she’s too good at everything.
I just hope Blizz doesn’t gut nerf her unnecessarily like they did Mercy. And only focus on the actual problems.
I’m still baffled as to why they changed it. Why did Sombra need to shut down Lucio even more?! Her ult already countered his, and she neutered his healing and mobility.
I’m all in favor of buffing Lucio vs Sombra, but in all other cases it’s consistent with affecting active abilities.
