Sombra - The Double Standard

Yeah the thing is that the translocator has travel time and its not very fast. In the heat of the moment it can also happen that i accidently throw it behind the high ground i actually wanted to access depending on the map. Thats why i set it up beforehand and then engage.

True I often throw it to far behind the high ground off map but it stucks on some cliff you normaly can’t stand on and when I try to go back I fall of map -w-.

Clearly you don’t play Sombra.

Seeing as you are GM, you know damn well she’s nothing more than an EMP Bot. And that is the role she’s always filled at ANY rank, and especially yours.

The ONLY play time she will ever see at your rank is when there’s a Hamond.

She’s been F Tier since the day she was released
But hey at least your main isn’t F Tier right?

So stop pretending she has higher than a 0.6% pick rate, just because she was seen in contenders for all of 5 minutes.

Meanwhile posting from your Smurf account. Go ahead show us your main account, let’s find out who your main really is?

Unlike your 30 hours of game play in the current season, I’ve played Sombra since the day she was released with over 300 hours.

It’s easy to do well when you play with Top 500’s on your team that can pick up the mechanical slack the character really has.

Why did you play her in first place then? She always been like this

Its like an abusive relationship. There are some things you like about the hero which always brings you back.

I hope you understand the problem with what you just said.

I kinda main sombra and i think she need more consistent damage, not higher DPS. Lower spread, more bullets, faster reload, not firerate/damage/falloff. She has a lot of mobility coupled with strong cc and ability to see wounded people. She supposed to have lower dps.

But i agree she isn’t ok. Recent change made it easier and less risky to use her still underpowered kit. If sombra will receive buffs, it should make her more consistent to use (consistent hack and things i wrote above) or stronger Hack or EMP

She actually can do a lot for your team if you capitalize on what she’s doing.
So
no, don’t throw games upon seeing a sombra.

Did i say you should ?Âż

No but my original point was just that. Like, it’s this thing that’s still happening, quite frequently, even though people are now saying she’s too powerful.

Some of the people commenting about her needing changes have little-no time on her. She’s not Brigette, you don’t just play her once and be godly. Sombra requires more time than other heroes to learn all parts of her kit to use them effectively.

Some of the people that comment she is fine also have just a few hours on her she has issues and she needs small buffs to be in a good spot.

If your concerned I’m a 200h Sombra main even tho time means not much and I think right now alot of Sombra mains are on the buffing side because she is not fine. And she won’t be as long you can’t go into competitive and play her without getting s*itstormed by 11 out of 12 people.

Giving her extra basemovement speed and some better visuals would not make her strong it would just make her good (Bug fixes included)

It seems even the pros have abandoned using her. She’s not viable in masters or diamond either. The “you just don’t know how to play her” argument is crap and always has been. Nobody is advocating for her to be meta in bronze.

Every time she gets a “small buff” people start crying. Hence why we now have a 2 second cooldown if hack is interrupted. :’(

Well just holding down right click was stupit anyway.

I don’t think anyone would cry about what I talked about above.
You could also add a threshold to hack and stealth and when you need to nerf her for that nerf her Ult charge rate its to high thats why she is used in Contenders.

I’d argue what she needs is more qol buffs. Especially with how team dependent she is, I think more things need to be done to make it easier for teammates to follow up. I’d argue she should be quieter, or something. Maximize stealth. Don’t give a visual cue when I translocate while invisible. That kind of thing.

If there was a buff I’d say reload speed. Maybe make it as fast as it is in stealth always?

The only issue is that they’re oddly stubborn on the base movement speed. It’s been an obvious thing for a while as have the visuals on hack. I dunno. It’s an odd situation.

Yea these two thing would make her balanced IMO I don’t think any Weapon changes are needed Just these two and some bugfixes would be great.

I think reload speed might make more sense, since they’re worried about stealth being too fast.

I say this about Genji all the time, but that seems to be okay.

Can’t aim with Genji? Hold alt-fire to win!
