Sombra support idea

  • machine pistol damage nerfed to 6/shot
  • Hack now has varying cooldowns, but can cleanse, boost allies, and heal:
    • Hacking a full health, non status’d ally takes 6 seconds
    • Hacking a statused or non-full ally takes 8 seconds
    • hacking healthpacks and enemies remains the same
    • hacking a damages, status’d enemy takes 10 seconds
    • Hack heals for 75, cleanses, and boosts damage and speed by 10% for 8 seconds.
  • Virus
    • Damage reduced to 25 impact and 65 DOT
    • Heals for 25 impact and 65 Dot
  • Stealth
    • 5 seconds on, 5 seconds off, with translocator resetting CD and timer when used.
  • Emp
    • Now the most expensive ult in the game;
    • Heals all allies for 100, cleanses effects, along with everything old EMP did

Her healing output seems non existent, it’s just moving Sombra to support role, she’s not rewarded as much for healing teammates so she’s still incentivised to play like a dps

The only people who think support Sombra is a good idea are people who don’t actually play Sombra.

support sombra was ok for Counter watch but I dont think it would work for regular game people wouldnt play her

I believe support Sombra is an excellent idea and I play her. Um, not as much as I used to after the rework, but I still spend PLENTY of time trolling people on my alt. I have her Aztec skin. That’s pretty cool, huh?

So this version of “Support Sombra” can heal 90hp over 4 seconds with Virus(22.5hps btw)and 75hp by channeling and doing nothing else for 6-10 seconds(12.5 - 7.5hps)?

Fantastic idea! Where do I sign up to receive such paltry nerfs like limited stealth, 25% less gun damage and doubling the cost of EMP so I can get my hands on a bunch of tools that let me afk during fights to provide a blisteringly OP 20hps?

I always find it funny to read something like this. Such a kit might work in theory, but that’s not Sombra! Game or not, how is a hack supposed to heal? Is Sombra now Neo from The Matrix, manipulating reality?

Also, Sombra’s only healing ability has an 8-second cooldown, and it even prevents other effects we could use. 75 healing seems far too little, especially considering you’re also nerfing her damage. The healing should be around 300-400, and even then it would only be useful for tanks, since DPS heroes wouldn’t have enough HP and would die during the cooldown!
