Sombra takes away all counters too her and she makes playing tank impossible. Perfect design.

She’s being adjusted for OW2 to do that less. She’ll still be powerful, but she won’t disable abilities for more than a second.
She also requires a lot of coordination to be useful. Which doesn’t happen often.

I am just really glad the attitude regarding her is much more chill on ladder, or the game would be infinitely more frustrating.

Even then, Soldier wins in the pure primary-fire-only matchup, which is all hack really turns it into.
Just play a character who isnt abillity dependant
Looking at your pfp your a genji main if you dash into her right before she hacks you it will cancel the hack and even if it doesnt youll be closer.
As genji you out damage sombra so you will 100% win if your aims better.
The only reasonable major complaints for sombra is probably for ball and doomfist.
Sombra is meant to be good against tracer yet I can say ive rarely died to sombra as tracer you can blink out of her hack you can recall you can shoot her even if you miss youve got the spread which will cancel her hack.
Sombras really not that good tbh.
I actually see almost no reason to play sombra unless your GM or OWL shes literally just worse tracer.
Unless theres a cracked doom on the enemy team.

She got nerfed though I’m pretty sure. So she’s mostly only annoying to poor defenceless zen now. That’s all sombra in OW1 is good for now really, to spawn camp zen all game. In OW2, sombra kinda looks broken and I’m a bit worried but we’ll see how it turns out.

Sombra is absolutely useless in current state of the game.
She basically requires to do set ups in game with ridiculously fast pace.
By the time you get ready to hack a tank from hg enemy team will already pass a choke point since ur team didn’t do enough pressure in 5 v 6.
If her hack is getting canceled then she is dead weight for another 20s.
She can’t kill anything in game where 4/7 support deal more than 100 hps and the other straight up kill her.
Of course you can use her for EMP, that is charging 3 times slower than other meaningful Ults because she lacks range and consistent damage.
Sombra offers nothing beside hack that is being canceled 7/10 times and being worthless with all pocket potential support & tank have.

It’s chill on ladder because nobody uses her and those that do rarely have success due to her kit requiring team coordination to maximize.

I don’t think she’s busted but playing Ball or Doom against her is just horrendous game design in my (very personal) opinion.
I’m fine with hard counters but what Sombra does to these 2 heroes in particular is way beyond countering. That’s gotta be some kind of cyber bullying, and that’s illegal boys. So next time I drop from a roof and get hacked just before I’m about to land a juicy E, I’m calling the police.
Counters should be more of a “you’re gonna have a rough time” than “you’re f*****, switch”.
Sombra is only busted in OWL, she’s not that good for 99.9% of the playerbase
