I’ve noticed that since OW2 “came out” Sombra’s hack hasn’t been working. Abilities aren’t being locked off. There are times where I know I finished a hack and I’ll see a Moira teleport out or a junkrat will kill me with C4 and the kill cam will show him hacked but none of his abilities are locked off.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s precisely what Sombra’s ability is supposed to do, stop abilities from being used, and it just isn’t doing it

Nah cause I’ve been on both ends of this, if you hack without being invisible it’ll work but if you do it while invisible it won’t work at all, I’ve had the “hacked” line on my screen and still been able to use my abilities

Hack is changed in OW 2, it only stops the use of abilities for around 1 second (cant remember the exact time) and increases the dmg sombra does to the target by 40%, its now more of a interrupt than a silence. so its working the way its meant to from what I know 
Yeah I have noticed this frequently on Sombra. It’s not consistent, there’s def. a bug somewhere.

Hack is only 1.75 seconds now. EMP is still longer though.
It doesn’t interrupt anymore at all as far as I can tell
Hey there! my husband and I did some 1v1 tests to see whats up with that. Theres a new change, so when you hack as sombra, your enemies abilities go offline for 1 second, then for the remaining 7 after, enemy will still display that their hacked, and they will have the hacked animation played on them (and see them through walls). During this remaining 7 seconds sombra’s damage goes up 40%.
So her hack lasts 8 seconds, it turns off abilities for 1 and the remainder is just 40% damage boost! Hope this helps
(though I REALLY wish they explained this in her Hero info, I feel like a lot of people are confused, myself included)
