Over buff stats always need a decent piece of salt, especially when we’re looking at stats that isolate higher tier levels of play. GM stats on overbuff are pulled from an impressively small source of data (simply because there simply aren’t that many GMs and there are even fewer who have public profiles that are sharing data with overbuff. Gold/plat/etc tend to provide better more accurate pictures because of how many sources they have to pull data from. Even the developers themselves have noted the middle rank overbuff data being accurate in comparison to public Gm or high rank data purely because of the lack of players it’s pulling data from).
To this point her win rates have mostly gone up recently between bronze to diamond when looking at her last month on public stats compared to the last 3 months.
We see dips in master / Gm - but again the data pool is so small that it’s difficult to make any early assertions. But that won’t stop people from calling “doooooom” will it?
That’s disappointing. Utterly trivial, minor nerf, “calling it a net nerf is dubious”… it’s obvious to most that her changes were clearly a net nerf, not trivial, and not minor either.

I’d be inclined to believe that only if DPS still wasn’t thee most bloated role with the longest que times. Which is a sign that its still thee most played role even today in OW.
Not going to lie- I have very little sympathy for Sojourn. I find her to be one of the worst designed DPS heroes in the game for a multitude of reasons. Her not being S tier finally isn’t a bad thing in my books.

In Spilo’s interview with Alec Dawson. It wasn’t a very long interview so it shouldn’t be hard to find the part where he was talking about Sojourns nerfs showing sharp decline in her popularity. And like I also said, content creators. Samito, Metro, and other CC’s like Jake, Custa, and Jaws have come out and said how hard these nerfs have hit her, some referring to the changes as a “turbonerf”. Like literally no one except a few forumers who clearly dislike Sojourn are saying she was barely nerfed, or even somehow net buffed lol.
yes because i enjoyed seeing sojourn in every lobby getting a 5k everytime she decided to overclock because in my lobbies players actually hit crap
hanzo complaints was purely a skill issue he was fine people just sucked and dont know movement, he only became an issue when infinite sustain prevented him from being a squishy target which MADE him a balanced hero so it all stems from support being the issue AGAIN.
I simply made a poorly how-to all Ball players operates from a POV of a support player, and yes it’s that simplistic. That’s all they do when they dive me as a support. All dive tanks have simple kit, but the Ball is the one that can run away without dying faster. Even in ‘‘failed dives’’ aka a dive when he doesn’t get a solo kill, he gets huge value. What a cheesy and trash design. Even on pro level, he’s broken because no one will pick anything to counter him. Just see Crazy Raccon vs Falcons on NQS map. The Ball player was the Finals MVP, and if I’m not wrong he didn’t die in that match.
That’s all Ball players do. If you think that’s not how they play, I can tell you don’t touch the support role at all.
There is nothing deep playing Ball. Back in OW1 when I was a hardstcuk Gold, I knew how to play that character.
The new shield piercing rail gun slug does not make up for its 30% damage nerf. 20% might have been acceptable given the faster primary ROF, but 30% seems to be a deal breaker.
It’s quite sad that because of complaints against a perfectly counterable character, a character I used to main now feels pretty much useless, lacking the lethal nature that made her unique. She feels like a worse version of S76 at this point. Maybe dmg boost was a problem on her previous iteration but that isnt her fault lmao
Yeah, i see a lot of casual players blame the devs for balancing only for high ranks, but somehow this 44% wr hero was destroying their lobby and needed a hard nerf.
And everyone in the forum is the 44% that are winning with Soj, meanwhile i cant get any decent value out of her
