I lost a game of push because my team was either not on voice chat or too dumb. We were winning a fight and I died, noticed the bot was pushing by an enemy tracer. He put it .10m beyond our furthest distance.
Overtime. We have to push it all the way back. We lose.
If people could hear me warn them about what was happening, maybe they would have turned around and contested.
Even the enemy team was shocked they pulled off the win.
I wonder where the complaints stem from, hmm let’s use critical thinking, oh I know you have no capability of doing such a thing. But yeah, overnight I randomly decided to ‘hate’ OW.

What do you think would happen when blizz catered to all the entitled whiners that play this game? All they do is report FOR EVERYTHING. Wrong hero - reported, asking for heals - reported, you lose a game and they want to blame someone - reported, not playing counterswapwatch - reported, asking someone to swap for benefit of the time - reported. Plus BLIZZ just put more censoring in the game by not allowing you to chat or speak bf a certain endorsement level, like any of us care about that game mechanism. There are plenty of tools in the game, like mute, squelch, avoids, disable chat, for there NOT TO BE A REPORTING TOOL. The entitled whiners love the reporting tool bc they always wanna blame someone else, they want to know they can get someone banned. Play a diff game whiners.

No more LFG, less time to type after matches, you get like 5 seconds to stay as group, harsher penalties for…talking? Yeah i cant think of a single good free to play game
I routinely report things I think are offensive. Some might disagree about what I find offensive, but I don’t care what other people think.
This is the game now.
If it’s the tank being diffed saying it, it’s not toxic. Wouldn’t be toxic to call yourself down. Not at anyone else, anyway.

I’m gonna be honest here and say I’m one of the people that use the report system this way.
Someone says diff about me? Reported. Enemy says ez? Reported. Someone I just don’t like starts to speak in chat? Reported.
Why? Because Blizzard is allowing it, and according to Blizzard I am not abusing anything because I get the notification the next day about a successful report.
This isn’t who I am, I used to not care even when people threw slurs at each other because at the end of the day those people will never see each other again. But I wouldn’t be doing this if I hadn’t been wrongly suspended twice each for one month for absolutely nothing, it’s high time I start paying them back.

That’s extremely lame.
I wish the CMs did what WoW GMs used to before it was all automated and would call out people who claimed they got banned for “no reason”.

Being afraid of being falsely ban and lose all my skins should not be a thing in any game ever! I hate ow2 so much now… sigh

Tell yourself what you need to.
False reporting has never been acted on except when livestreamed. You can report as many times as you want for anything you want. Nothing will happen except your endorsement going to 1. I’ve specifically tested this.

Can they? Never heard anyone that got banned for that. What do you expect, that they have HUMANS looking at the reports and considering if they are deserved? Their automated system can’t tell if you’re “abusing” anything and even if they could, why would they ban people, they maybe just deny the report without telling you. I report religiously, never had a warning or anything over that.

“Test” all you want, I bet they have a system inside DM that ignores so many reports from the same person. Kind of like the forums where you can only flag a certain amount of times a day.
they say the devs read the forums, but they COMPLETLY ignore the issue with the defense matrix and abusing reports to an automated system
