My guess is Hanzo. Wouldn’t even be surprised if he loses oneshot from primary. Sojourn probably getting nerfs too.

My guess is bastion or mei, they are the heroes people absolutely hate and are not allowed to be viable. If blizzard was more active in balancing, bastion would have been nerfed into the dirt months ago.

This is a different team. Bastion has been viable in Overwatch 2 since the beginning and meta for over 3 seasons. Give me a break.

I assume it will be a hero that isn’t actually that good but everyone complains about because they don’t know how to handle them and they make the game “unplayable.”

My guess is either sombra or mercy.

Sombra, mercy and Ana are like the most hated hero’s for people who don’t main them. Sombra has been causing havoc recently across most ranks, and I imagine thats because of how hard she counters certain hero’s, it’s likely driving their mains away from the game and they can see that in the internal stats (Hammond, doom, mercy etc). with all the recent complaints, I think it’s quite likely to be her. Too many people in the game will lose the first fight, immediately switch to sombra, and bully the most vulnerable player to hack until they are forced to switch, majority of the time tank players suffer the most.

Now there’s mercy, who seems to be hated just as much, if not more so than sombra. They probably know that mercy mains/one tricks are so dedicated to the mercy play style, that we will stick it out and keep playing even if she gets trashed. Blizzard have been steadily nerfing her for a while now, and it would also keep a lot of the anti-mercy brigade happy.

The only character that truly “should” be dumpstered for the health of the game (for the sanity of tank players) is Ana, but it will never happen because Ana is the golden child.
