You might actually have.
There’s a thing the latest patch notes reference. It’s called “environmental collision.” This applies to more things in the game than just Illari’s ult, though. In the patch notes, only Illari’s ult is referenced specifically, but this applies to more than just her ult.
I know from experience that Sym’s orbs have 0 environmental collision. They can hit you from around corners, effectively, because the very middle point of the projectile is not colliding with the environment. You can even test this yourself in practice range very easily.
So keep this in mind when you play. I’m actually not totally sure which other projectiles this kind of effect is most exaggerated on, but I know that Junkrat’s projectile environmental collision is not even close to 0. It’s very likely just the same as his projectile size, he hits walls very easily. It’s kind-of annoying.
Just a fun little tidbit that can be somewhat useful. Anyone else know any other examples?
