So when are you people going to admit Genji is OP?

Because it’s grandmaster. People are at the end of his skill curve, and it shows.

He is for sure over tuned right now, this coming from a Genji main.

I suspect the fire rate buff w/ the spread buff was far to much over all. One of these should be reverted and then he may still need an ult charge increase as well.

If you look around on the forums, only a very small percentage is actually disagreeeing he’s op. The majority of debate is around how to reasonably nerf him without chopping his head off like some psychos want

but you will never say anything about ashe or widow or torb or ana or sigma or orisa. you directly went to the easiest one to counter, if you see ashe mercy literally nothing can stop her from farming bob’s everyfight. if you see orisa, all the top500 filled with oirsa mains . widow one shot hero that destroy you from any range. torb the hero plays it self. ana has the most op kit in the game. sigma deals damage more than dps in the match.

Sombra got a 10% reduction to hers in an experimental and she was broken with it (she also got a 10% spread reduction on topof that that actually went live but still)

But as the history repeats, the power of the forums will prevail!

Except statistically speaking, Genji is overpowered.

Feel free to prove me wrong. I’ll wait.

The stats that you are basing your argument on are not real stats, it’s like going to a neighborhood that 90% of them will vote for someone to be president, you take stats from there and it may look like this candidate has a lot of support but in reality it can be a close match between them, what you are seeing in Overbuff are only stats that are from people who have an open profile, it means that it is not the full picture, and the bigger problem is that most people have a private profile, so technically Sym can be the 3rd most picked dps in master but because those Sym players are using a private profile you will never know judging by stats.

Except it is NOTHING like that.

Unless you can show that people who don’t have private profiles are majorly biased in one direction.

Because it is very likely that private / non private is pretty independent of other factors.

It’s an over exaggerated example, just to prove a point’ doesn’t mean that this is the case, but even if every hero has a 60% of his mains have a private profile and another hero only has 20% of his mains use a private profile it may look like one hero is better than the other.

Usually the mains of a non meta hero have their profile private, from my experience at least, I see a lot more Ashe and Mccree mains with open profile (on average ofc) than Sym mains with open profile, so Sym (while still not doing so good) looks like she is a lot worst than she is actually is.

You literally don’t understand how statistics work, lol.

The population of the US is roughly 329,227,746.

Statistics, which are rarely wrong are only done on 5k-10k of the population.
