Weād probably end up with something like a Rein+Orisa double barrier meta, it would suck for everyone.

Must be why dva and Winston are both in the bottom 3 tanks in GM right now huh? You donāt know what youāre talking about. You will never see Winston dva meta in this patch.
People like to say D.va is Waaaaaaaaaay more viable than she actually is. I think its still for what ever reason people overrating dm. When we have gone through every defensive ability meta in the game being more desirable.

Only in NA because NA always preferred Brawl. In Korean they are Meta
Dva is the only offtank with mobility, this enables a unique playstile, a unbeatable fexibillity and some starts only work with mobility
Ofcause this has its drawbacks, but her mobility makes her skill ceiling so high
not sigma after the sheild nerf and definitely not d.va
its āsombraā and she has the lowest pickrate besides bastion and could use a damage buff
brigā¦ is debatable
for tanks i would say winston, ball, zarya and rein and nobody else
supports are good for everyone but brig and moira
and dpsā¦ there are too many to count but mccree and tracer are op rn
im awate metas really only apply in high ranks, but im just saying some of the things you said arnāt really meta, even in low ranks (example reaper is trash in even bronze rn)

Iām talking about Contenders and OWL level. The meta would be a lot different if I was talking about plat or something
Just look up OWL off-season scrims and you will see what I mean 
i donāt watch owl, and if that what is what you where talking about then you should have specified, and uh no, the current owl season is over, and the meta has changed since thenā¦ and tracer and ball are meta in almost every rank rn, same for rein and zarya, when we talk about the meta we arnāt talking about owl specifically, a pro can play sombra but that doesnāt mean she is metaā¦
I feel like every patch in the past few months people here jump to dva winston becoming meta but it never actually happens. Maybe thatās just what people really want to happen, I would love it to happen also since itās been so long since they were actually top tier tanks. But imo there are just too many things holding them back. 1. Brig exists. 2. the way boops work now makes it harder for them to dive as compared to previous momentum based boops back when these tanks were good. 3. Dva was middle of the field in all ranks when the nerfs came in that sent her straight to F tier. She will never recover if they donāt put her back to where she was and it seems like blizz is hard set on never doing that, giving her miniscule compensation buffs like +100 armor -100 health. 4. New absurd Rein primary fire damage puts way too much pressure on winston after a dive. That combined with zaryaās absurd dmg where dva has to rely on winston shield to keep her from meltingā¦it just puts dva winston combo at a severe disadvantage vs Rein Zarya.
Ball is still a far better tank than dva or winston because he has mobility all the time but dva winston have mobility on a cooldown which leaves them vulnerable to Rein Zarya beat down after a dive.
