The big problem is “Cry baby” mentality when it comes to Quickplay.
“My games are ruined because this person threw the game”…
Maybe they just suck at the game, they are trying to improve which means playing in another mode against other players and the real villain is the server operators which should recognize the person isn’t capable of playing the game and instead should have placed them in a LOWER MMR/ Skill Rated game.
Ever thought that for once here?
I see that in this game too much. Everyone has to blame everyone else and they blame the wrong people for their problems.
“Dont hate the player, hate the game”.
and shills go and say "Well blizzard did everything right it would never do that, the player just threw on purpose"…
no, its called blizzard has plenty of data, they just dont want to use it.
Nice try at what? Look, I know you’re a little miffed after no one followed you to reportsville, but don’t take it out on the rest of us if you can help it.
People don’t have to join in with you when you want to report someone. You can do that all by your lonesome.
You presume I think I’m better than you based on…? What?
I really think you’re blowing this all out of proportion. And it is a shame that has happened. But I do feel in future you should just report and move on.
if matchmaking is putting me on a bad team against a stack of try hards, you bet your backside im afk, not my job to carry Randoms to make their game feel balanced
PROVING “throwing” is really hard though compared to the saved toxic text in chat…
You can explain away most actions. Like, if we got into an argument between rounds then next round I start standing still a lot, sure, you can report me for throwing, but I will write my rebuttal stating my mouse was dying or malfunctioning. Blizz can’t prove it wasn’t. If I suddenly start purposely playing like a drunk kitten on a keyboard, you can say I am throwing, I can say my keyboard was acting up, or my little brother took over for me while I took an important phone call…point is, Blizz would have a hell of a time PROVING you were actually throwing and not engaging in some real world issues.
To answer your question though, people who just don’t try in QP ARE wasting 4 other team mates time and obviously don’t care, making them trash irl, but best thing you can do is block and keep them from being on your team again tbh.
This alone is bannable offence if you admit to it, since technically it would count as account sharing. It’s upto the staff how to deal with it though…
Ok, this happens like 1/10 times. Most of the time, people report you for “throwing” in QP, even if you are just new, or bad at certain hero. Not sure, why you took so seriously.
It really ain’t. Someone had an important phone call and let their sibling take over the game for a few seconds so they didn’t get booted, and potentially end up with a penalty.
If that counts as “account sharing”, then by Jove I wonder what actual account sharing is.
Dude, I was once new at FPS too. I literally did not look up. At all. My first Val match, all I did was watch the ground as I walked… And shot the walls…
Does not mean not try, or just nonstop 1v5 like a lot of tank throwers do. I go to qp to relax yes, but I still want people to actually try a little.
It’s always the “it’s just qp” people who act like it’s okay to jump off the map repeatedly, feed their brains out, or try to 1v5 like they’re the main character, and it’s sad.
According to the forums and “it’s just QP chill” people he is allowed to do that, not play and throw the game and you need to sit there and take it. Because if you do not and leave every game where something like that happens you will not only be punished for it but will also be scrutinized by other players. That is what QP is now. You do not play, you troll and throw. I would not be surprised if people start reporting people for actually playing and not trolling like everyone else.
I had a QP game a couple of days back, Havana defense second point. There was like 20 seconds left in the match and I saw that one of the enemy DPS switched to Sombra, so I wrote in team chat “they have a Sombra, careful of C9”. That was the only thing I said the whole game and the only thing that was said the whole game and one of my teammates wrote “chill, it’s QP” like I did something wrong for only giving a warning about a possible C9.
QP has become significantly worse to play. Comp is no better either, but there was a time I used to enjoy QP more than Comp. Now QP is barely playable due to all the trolls and people outright not wanting to play.
Nowhere in OP did they state the person was jumping off the map repeatedly. “feeding their brains out” makes little sense without any context. “1v5 like they’re the main character” also doesn’t make much sense without any context.
Define throwing… because, I’m sitting in a corner AFK is something I’ll report you for every single time. Intentional feeding to the point where it’s obvious you are doing it on purpose, yep I’m reporting you. Refusing to use all your kit, like Rein refusing to shield. Yep, definitely reporting.
But, not swapping to counter the enemy tank because I want to play D.Va and no matter what you do that’s who I am going to play, is not reportable. Nor is playing Reinhardt for the 1st time ever and having no idea what I’m doing so I’m learning as I go. That’s part of QP. Nor is just sucking at playing tank because that can and does happen, especially when DPS fill in the role.
