So, just ____ Venture, huh?

They don’t have paid hero missions. Underworld is the only hero mission released and it was free, though it’s never been brought back.
OWC is not a campaign.
what?

I think there were some other hero missions released. Gothenberg and the like. Still scummy, but hey. I’m a pedant.

Speaking of campaigns, I really wish more games had couch co-op splitscreen. I’m buying a copy of BG3 (physical) just so I can play it with my friends and my dad after I sink hundreds of hours into the singleplayer. I also wish more racing games and shooting games had this… Like wtf? Why in the hot dog frreakity fracking HELL does Wolfenstein, Doom, and Forza not have native splitscreen?

Bizzard is a company, they will scrap things if they believe it will make them more money than having them in game. i.e. PvE

They will make skins for heroes that people will buy them on. Not heroes that a very minute players wants to buy the skin for.

Now now now, you’re missing the point.

How the HELL did you not understand what a campaign was? I know I’m young, but do kids these days really not know what a campaign mode is?

Gothenberg was one of the campaign missions.
Hero missions were randomly generated wave modes and it was where the talent trees were used. Underworld was one of them but lacked the talent trees. Campaign is the story schtuff, like the Invasion pack.

Ahhhh. I haven’t been really “into” a lot of the stuff they’ve pushed out, I’ve only kinda just stuck around and played the game. The hero missions and PVE stuff didn’t seem all that neat to me NGL.

PVE didn’t make money because all of the content that separated it from Archives was removed. Blizzard shot themselves in the foot and have no one to blame but themselves.

buddy it isnt hard so have I

With all your whining about a character that is the walking definition of mid, I doubt that.

comical how offended you get by me saying a character with invincibility is annoying. parasocial much?

Offended? No lol
You just straight up made incorrect statements, so I made fun of you for it.

If Blizzard believed that the PvE would have made them money it would have been in the game.

Also they may have lost some money, but they are not gonna do it again. They make skins to sell, and venture skins will sell very little… like almost no existence.

It didn’t make them money because the appealing parts of the PVE were scrapped.
That is quite literally the main criticism. That everything that made it worth buying and made it unique from Archives was gone. It did not make money because it was just Archives.

i straight up made factual statements and you brought up entirely irrelevent mechanics that do not matter outside of the animation L O L c o p e

You claimed Venture’s burrow is uncounterable.
Every stun character can stop burrow from being activated.
Every boop delays burrow’s animation.
Every flier and high-mobility character can avoid it easily.
Multiple characters can stop Venture from gaining any air time and curb her momentum once she comes out of it.
Shields block burrow’s damage.
Multiple characters will just shred Venture if she tries to throw hands.
Try again, skill issue

I’m a Reaper main and it’s crazy to me that no one has talked about how many skins he’s gotten lately

Certainly this can’t be true? How many of the 500 would just be thier alt one trick accounts?. I demand records!

To answer the questions about Doing and Wolfenstein either A the console is old (because you meant the old games or B They didn’t want to bother putting split screen on a game that has a single player campaign when online multiplayer has become so popular

As for Forza…I mean which one are you talking about?

Technically the earlier ones did but as the series continued it became so personalized to the player that split screen just wouldn’t work.

If player two is another player then they need a separate garage. A separate account to keep track of that account ect. Which just leads back into the earlier statment of online multiplayer was just more popular so why bother worrying about it.

I rarely agree with Lumin

But he is 100 percent correct here

When blizzard adopted the income model that depends on sales of cosmetics, yes, they naturally prioritized creation of cosmetics for the most popular characters, as these earn them the most revenue

Arguing that every character should get the same number of skins in such an arrangement is akin to telling your local pizza slice joint that they must have just as many durian and stinky tofu pizza slices in their display case as pepperoni or cheese slices.

Venture was only added to the game for inclusive brownie points. Devs will never admit that though.
