Being the most picked healer having something that counters you removed or toned down is not “balanced” as it now makes you even more of a must pick because there’s even less hindering you from being the best.

Ana doesn’t require much skill in a meta where she has
a) two other supports
b) three big targets surrounding her
In other situations she requires more aiming and positioning skill than Lucio or Moira. But she is played so much because of the GOATS meta. She is easier to play and her nade can make a difference.
How did you manage to make a thread about Ana about doomfist. It’s not like she doesn’t have 101 other counters, including a hard counter in winstons barrier.
It’s cute that you blame Ana for Doomfists nerfs. But I guess you need to blame someone right?
Btw, for comparison: When Mercy was meta, she was the most picked in proplay AND ladder, Ana isn’t tho. And If your team is somewhat smart, just go doats against goats and win. Guess what, doats doesn’t use Ana.

She is really not. just for a proof, goats, the strongest comp right now, zen goats is stronger than ana goats, just watch all pro and semi pro comp, she is 100% not a must pick.
On matchmaking tho there is no hard proof or statistic to prove otherwise, but in 90% eventually the pro dictating the meta for the whole game.
This really has to stop too. Goats isn’t played nearly as much as people claim it is. Look at GM, dive with doomfist is played almost as much as goats. plat, diamond and masters, nano blade in a 2/2/2 is the go too comp. Gold and plat they’re also running a McCree comp with mercy. Diamond runs Cree with Zen.

yea but imo moira should be the healer when it comes to tanky comps…
The other supports need slight buffs. Heals dont allways have to be balanced in incriments of 5. They should of just buffed mercys heal to 55 instead of making it stronger in valk. Lucio could use a small increase of like 2.5 or somthing to his heal. Honestly I feel brig needs another heal buff beyond the one on the ptr.
She should be, but the problem is her design, not Ana. Moira’s a heal bot who by all accounts can be denied the ability to heal. D.va eats her orbs, barriers stop her from building charge with grasp and suddenly she’s a wasted team slot. It’s been the same problem she’s had since people tried to replace mercy with her. Actually more so now since the Barrier “fix”

ana is only so high because of her superior ability to anti heal… moira could easily compete with her healing.
All moira has is healing, which can be denied without the enemy even needing an Ana, which is what happened when people tried to replace mercy with moira when moira was released and winston still made sure ana was trash tier.
Moira needs her “bugfix” reverted, and I think she needs some kind of utility as well. She has healing and damage, and as you said, all her healing can be denied atm. Her numbers are good tho.

I agree. And I do think she needs some kind of utility as well but honestly I’d have no clue how you would do that without a rework of some kind, which makes me skeptical in itself.
lucio is a way better pick for goats than zen. Actual brig is also better than zen.
Zen has 40% of pickrate in healer role while zen is actually just 12%. In GM, where better players plays.
Zen has worst pickrate than brig and lucio in fact. After the nerf of brig he will be in a better position but NEVER better than anna. Anna is just OP right now.
With zen goats you run brig, lucio and zen. brig to armor, lucio to speed boost and zen’s discord makes the enemies melt, plus you get the added dps zen brings.

Buffing supports isnt a good idea.
Like itll just come into a support heavy meta more than it already is.

he has 1/4 the pickrate of anna. You can go like you said but you will be lacking heal as much as in that comp you DONT have any main healer. Zen can’t replace anna. He can go with anna but not replace her. Anna has four times more pickrate than zen. She is a opressing healer right now.
Ana has WAAAAAY too much in her kit to not take her.
I like Moria but why would I take Moria if Ana is available? (if Ana is picked i’ll take Moria and when she bio nades the group I mass heal for the win with healing spray and heal ball but still that’s ONLY if shes already taken)
Ana can shut down alot of ults with sleep dart, can shut down healing with bionade, and can reliable heal from a distance (something Moria can’t do diddly other then throw a slow moving ball at a far target and hope they are still near enough to get some heals) ATM shes one of the best counters to BoB coming out is to sleep him and then bam hes useless for most of the ult timer unless your teammates wake him.
Oh and lets not forget that her Ult is basically making the Weeaboos love her because Nano + Dragonblade is an oppressive combo.

Almost looks like it, but I’m not getting flamed for picking mercy over ana so it’s not so bad !

While pro player consist about 0.00001% of the playerbase as a whole.
