I haven’t seen the system in PTR, but I’d like for them to use a compensation system for not getting your preferred role like Mech Warrior Online does with map votes.
Basically let us choose things like “I’d prefer DPS, but I can also tank.”
Then every time you get Tank instead of DPS, you get increasingly weighted chances of being chosen for a team’s DPS slot.
Good for players who are fine playing both and filling, but would like to actually play DPS sometimes without a huge wait.
It’s perfectly fair because the tank role is available to everyone. Just click the button. It’s not some exclusive privilege they got on a lootbox or paid DLC for.
I really don’t understand why it matters if somebody else is gaining more XP than somebody else in this game. It’s not like there is a race to an “end game” content lol
As a tank main, I do not want people playing tank just so they can get into more than 3 games an hour. I do not want someone who has no clue how to push, no clue how to peel, or just wants to be a fat DPS.
This is a terrible mindset that leads to toxicity and frustration.
Sure I have, I have no issue with tanks. They aren’t meant to be played like Dps, and I think that’s the probs with some players they think everything needs to be dmg dealing. That’s not tanks jobs, they’re jobs are to make space and mitigate dmg.
