She’s one of the most powerful heroes in the game (slightly op) and she’s also a ton of fun. The biggest thing as tracer is you should always be doing something. Whether you’re scouting or you’re doing damage.
She is if your mistakes free but not everyone is perfect at her. Making mistakes as her is worst thing you could ever do as Tracer. Being forced to recall, having to use extra blinks or worst dying. Like you I have played on console before. Have to admit she’s a lot easier to play there because you have 360 movement while on pc you only have 8 direction. Mobility is stronger there also because it’s hard to aim at console especially at close range. When switching to pc, I find Tracer more of a pain to play as but that’s me not playing FPS on pc at all. Overwatch is my first FPS that I constantly play so I’m still getting used to pc control.
Back to the original topic, I hope they add more features to LFG to make it more appealing. Having LFG is the best thing to have in Overwatch, hopefully it will stay for the rest of its game life.
I cri
Personally, LFG is useless to me. Literally no difference between solo-healing or tanking and healing/tanking for a team. At least with staying solo, I’m not trapped into playing Mercy Moira or Reinhardt and can switch roles if needed.
Funny enough, I enjoy solo q.
Nice to hear, but beware that LFG won’t completely fix problems. It improves your chances of having a fun and fair game, but there’s still a reduced chance that some teammates might be toxic, uncooperative, or the match just ends up being a one sided stomp. Also very rarely I’ve found some ‘troll’ LFG groups where the leader just kicks random people out for no reason at all, wasting their time in joining.
LFG makes playing competitive and making friends a lot easier.
Usually lfg goes like this for me
We form a group
We play a comp game
Win/lose
If we win everyone wants to play more, dandy
Lose once and group members start leaving until it all falls apart
Idk if us servers and simply better for lfg than the eu ones but I haven’t been very lucky with it, unfortunately ![]()
Completely disagree with suggestions that LFG is dead on console, I use it regularly and it’s still very much alive. Plenty of great people using it and queue times are still considerably shorter for 6 stacking than they were before the feature.
LFG is really only going to shine if Blizzard introduces a guild system.
I remember getting on LFG in a bad mood. Needless to say, no wonder why people get toxic lol.
Regardless, great feature. Way better if you have a mic tho, I’ve made some good mates from the feature. I’m fine solo queueing as is. It’s not like I play comp.
I’m glad you had such a positive experience.
I remember a fellow Support who was one of the nicest people you could meet. I wasn’t feeling very chatty that day and kept my dialogue to only what was necessary. She was understanding and so polite! She always asked which healer I wanted to be first and she would play around that. Throughout the matches we played she kept a constant smile on my face and actually got me to forget what it was that kept me feeling down.
But then you get those people. Like a Tank we had who always, without fail, rushed in alone and wondered why we weren’t following and he wasn’t getting healed. But it gets better. Horizon. Enemy has Junkrat, Reaper and Bastion. We tell our other Tank to swap off Winston because he’s getting countered. This guy goes then Winston without informing any of us, rushes to the stairs, dies and then has the nerve to say “I only died because I wasn’t getting any heals. Our healers are useless.” WELL I’M SORRY BUT WE’RE DEAD BECUASE YOU WON’T PROTECT US AND WON’T STAY WITH THE TEAM!
So yeah, mostly positive!
QP has become playable again. No more single-tanking or single-supporting unless I wanted to be part of a team that actually does that.
Love it but I’m on console…
well its good to know i’m not the only one suffering here. please blizzard fix this
What’s wrong with console?
I like the experience of complete rng teammates better, some of the funniest things can happen that you wouldn’t get if you used lfg.
I’m happy you’ve had a good experience with LFG, OP. I don’t use it myself but a lot of people seem to have enjoyed it.
I wish it was usable at higher rank comp matches.
Looking for a full 6-stack in Masters when everyone in the group has to be within 500 SR of each other takes 30 minutes to an hour. Then once you do find a group the queue times take 10 minutes-30 minutes. So you’re looking at 40 minutes-2 hours to find a game sometimes.
Okay, as you know there are two way to use LFG. The first beeing on top of the screen next to your profile pitcture. The second way to enter it is by using the “play” Menu (you know with quicksearch, comp, arcade etc.) For some strange reason the game does not allow you to chose this option. I guess on PC you can click on it with your mouse, but on console it doesn´t work at all.
