My god games were traaaasshhhhh the quality of my games went down SIGNIFICANTLY, no ones gonna combo game winning ults unless you call for it no one backs up for heals even if you ping for it, everyones basically playing every man for themselves and there ALLLLL bad at it, etc etc, people don’t play with VC for obvious reasons but I’ve been to spoiled not having coms in overwatch has to be one of the least fun experinces I’ve ever had ngl.
That’s interesting, this hasnt been my experience. If I just use the comm wheel to say “my ult is ready” and someone else’s is ready and they want to combo, they just say “I understand” using the wheel, and I’d say about 80% of the time they successfully combo with me.
I used to ALWAYS plays with voice and made lots of great friends, but lately everyone is really quiet so I just kinda stopped and just play while listening to music and it’s genuinely shocked me how well people will cooperate with you just through pings and the com wheel

I play lifeweaver so I can’t exactly DO that.
I would have to go through the motions of like typing it out or getting ANOTHER team member to coordinate xyz using that option with someone else.
I also play Illari, Baptiste and Brig and for 2 of those people aren’t like “Aware” you want to combo and bap… I don’t need to explain baps ult.

I hate people and prefer pretending the rest of my team is nothing but AI. If I actually had to acknowledge people really exist I would probably stop playing.
Coms are risky.
Nonverbal communication and calling for it via the ping system does work. You just never learnt how to do it.
Because you relied only on vc.
No sympathy for the LW players. Perhaps you should play a good character.
