Juno has the most consistent weapon out of the support role. Its not that Juno is strong, but rather that she feels… like the ultimate comport pick, if you can aim.
The kills mainly come from stray bullets or torps that she throws around all game. While her healing is good and valuable, her utility is something she is lacking, mainly because something like speed has to be used by team mates and get value out of.
A benefit is that you play a lot with rein and he can use the speed very well. Not to mention that flanker players have terrible target prioritization and Juno can survive it sometimes.
Ana is still the quee, because how stupidly broken nade and sleep are, when you hit people with it. If they dont have a Kiriko, almost every cooldown is free value, that means certain death for the enenemy if you not just spam it.
Juno is consistent, doing medium damage, good healing and is able to get fast from A to B. I would call her the new valilla support for people, because how less gimmiky she feels. She is also very easy to use.
Ana is taken for the nade.
Juno is taken for her ult.
Considering in low ranks you might have packing teams or not, it just depends.
I don’t see why Juno would replace Ana in anyway when they actually complete each other : nanoboost + speedboost from Juno revives the old broken Nanoboost effects turning Rein into a warmachine.
Juno is fine.
I don’t think she replaces any hero in metal ranks, because most heroes are historically played in low ranks, regardless if they are meta or not.
Certainly not Mercy, because both kits and playstyles are totally different.
Scoreboard numbers alone don’t tell the whole story.
Juno is hard to play at base level; Ana isn’t really. On top of this, Juno’s plays usually involve a lot of her team using her utility whereas Ana kind of thrusts it upon her teammates, so in low ranks Ana would often be better.
so im low elo…ive been curious about this…so brig isnt supposed to be out and about healing…they are supposed to stick close to the other support and essentially be their protector? have i been playing brig wrong all this time? (probably lol).
are we not?!? hrumph!
so, the way I play brig is, i try to stay back and poke around corners, using whipshot to try to keep inspire up, if someone comes into our area, or if we push up and get close to them, then ill start swinging. Granted, i sometimes get too aggressive and suffer for it, but generally, i try to play her conservatively, using whip shot a lot and the odd straggler that gets too close.
is this the wrong way to play her?
interesting, so, for bronze/silver play…ana isnt a good choice? At what rank would you say is good to start using her? and what would you suggest to use up until that point?
youve seen my game play! i have fans!
i like kiriko, i just cant get my mind around her offputtingly awkward fire rate on her damage projectile.
also, i never know if im supposed to just hold down the fire button and aim, or aim and just tap the fire button to send single shots…basically, spam her damage fire or play her like a hanzo?
i have had some pretty good team kills using juno’s ult…seems like it’s pretty effective.
