So, after playing almost all of the roster (experimental 132)

I stand by what I said before:

But, now that I’ve gotten to be more hands on with some of the Tank changes, I will say, I like some of the concepts.

Also, I like that Heroes (such as Sombra) are actually viable. Whereas, in 222, she is absolute garbage.

Overall, though, what I quoted from the other thread still stands. I feel, in order to make this really work, some problematic damage would need to be toned down (like Widow), Supports would need to be buffed and Tanks would need further tweaks.

But, all in all, I like this. It has a lot of potential and promise

Sadly, though, from what Jeff recently said, on here, 132 is only staying up for about a week. Which, is a shame. I was hoping that maybe they would leave it up for a while and add changes, here and there. So, we could see how they would “grow” a concept, like this.

That would have been my preferred way to test this/try it out. Having a change this drastic only be “one and done” (and only up for a short amount of time), doesn’t really give us the ability to “sink our teeth” into the idea. You know what I mean?

But, either way, it was still nice to try it. And, as I said, I think there is a lot of potential/promise, here, if the right steps were taken to really “fine tune” this idea.

I think the time span is so short so that way we can fall in love with the idea of powerful tanks (meme bubbles and a viable D.Va) and lots of DPS, but not play it long enough to actually get sick of the concept before it gets pushed to live and we all actually hate it.

I consider this whole experience a “teaser” of what’s to come, while simultaneously occupying us for the week or so before season 21 and the hero bans pools arrive with it.

You might be correct. That actually wouldn’t surprise me.

(I mean, if you look on here, while there are people that don’t care for the concept, as is. There are people like me, who think It has promise. And there are others who just really love it. But, if we all kept “binging” on the idea, We could end up in a situation like you described. So, yeah, it wouldn’t surprise me if it was a “teaser” of sorts, just to give you a taste of the idea and they could take that feedback going forward and maybe we’re kind of behind the scenes some more)

I know Blizzard, and am familiar with their event schedules with regards to overwatch. (For example, the past several events have coincidentally ended the day after a new competitive season launches, which is an excellent strategy for player retention)

Their marketing is also shockingly transparent if you can detach yourself from the gameplay experience.
