Oh hey, someone else with misophonia. I have it too. Chewing/slurping sounds make me murderously angry. Also people whistling, good lord it’s like taking a drill to the ears.
Which is why I carry around a pair of Sennheiser noise-canceling earbuds.

Yeah, there are a few Reinhardt skins that I love that I can’t use anymore because of the stupid ax sound effect. It’s literally cringe-inducing for me, because I can’t stand the sound of metal scraping on metal. I asked for the option for each player to have a toggle or something that allows the player to switch between the ax and hammer effect for themselves, but the first time I asked I received a crap ton of downvotes (Old forum. Apparently people are too stupid to distinguish between “option to switch off” and “scrap this thing entirely and get rid of it”), and a second time to very little attention.

I hate the sound of tissue paper rubbing against tissue paper. Or the sound a knife or a fork makes when it scrapes against a ceramic plate. I think everyone has sounds that make them cringe.
I have dogs too, and they kind of do sound like that tho… well, one of them does. lol. I know because she always wakes me up by licking my face and ears… I love her. The other one is more quiet tho. She is so cute.
exactly, it bothers me so much that these little sounds sound so annoying.
there is no way for me to like, get used to it.
plus, I can like feel it without even being close to it…
