Since This is What Overwatch is

Why can we just have it were we can swap without having to go back to spawn… AND keep all of out ultimate charge?

I…feel there’s an obvious answer to that, that doesn’t deserve explanation.

it would be even funnier if you could store ult charge and just ult 5 times in a row on each tank

but yeaaaa no…

Istg you always make your takes specifically so that no one agrees with you.

Have you seen the video where Flats and the Enemy tank swap so much that they dont have time to leave spawn before they swap again.

Because that’s broken. Not all heroes have the same ult charge requirements. So at least with dps the strat would be play tracer till you have ult. Then swap to like sombra. And you now have a free EMP. It would be so broken.

That makes sense … .

What?

Not necessarily. Each hero’s ult charge is based on a raw number gauge, and you can’t get ult past that hero’s cap. So 100% on Tracer would be 1375/1375, whereas swapping to Sombra would leave you at 1375/1826, or 75.3%. The better play is picking a hero that you can rack up easy ult charge with, then swap.

They could go the route. But I still think it’s a weird move.swapping should mean your ult goes to 0% to me.

It used to go down to 0% when you swapped, but the devs wanted to encourage more counterswapping so they introduced ult charge carryover. Considering the state of the game today, it ended up being a mistake.

Frfr just play tracer, get your ult, go genji (or anyone else with a good ult) then use your ult and repeat
