Elo hell is just a subjective experience where a player is no longer good enough to climb. For some that could be at 1000. For others that could be at 4000.

This proves nothing. Your MMR was still high even after throwing. Hidden MMR stats 100% historical.
Buy a new account, play absolutely terrible (even in QP until level 25). Make sure your accuracy and stats are trash every game or else hidden MMR will figure you out quite quickly. Lose all your placements and make sure you place in silver or low gold, maybe even bronze. Climb from there… THEN you’ve proved us wrong. Period.
I dont aquait elo hell to not being able to climb out, but rather the general feel of the players’ skills within the elo.

They’re delusional, my dude. It does not matter what you say or do; they will never accept that they are the problem. On the bright side, they will stay stuck in their rank until they finally quit, and the smart ones who actually listen and work on themselves will earn higher ranks.

What? Who said that? I’m the only reason I’m in Silver. My skill. Nothing is making anyone stay in their rank besides themselves.
What I said was, your hidden rating… your MMR, never gets deleted.
So, if you sucked when you initially bought your account then your MMR would be low initially, say hidden MMR=100. Then, you start climbing and your MMR rises. You get to Masters and now have a high MMR, say MMR=1000. Then, let’s say you throw games and you de-rank from Master to Bronze. Your MMR decreases, now MMR=100.
What I’m saying is, his account, has the entire history of his MMR: [100, …, 1000, … 100].
Since at one point in time in that account, his MMR was high… if he starts winning consistently, SR gains EXPLODE… I’m talking like 50-75+ SR per game.
I’ve seen YouTube videos of “Bronze to GM” climbs and they all have this property of huge, quick SR gains. This is because their performance/MMR is so high. A few people (Kabaji, ML7 for example) have showed you can a Bronze to GM flexing on a new account. It took them a few days grinding like 12+hrs a day and like 80% win rate to make it low GM…
So it is possible. Just not as easy as Basso makes it out to be. Because he tanked an already GM-rated account and had that MMR history.
A player who placed in Bronze playing as best they can will have difficulty rising out of bronze
A player who can win 32 games in a row will not place in bronze to begin with if they play to the best of their ability
the experience described by the op is not therefore relevant as I see it to proving or disproving the existence of elo hell

It only takes like 20 games to boost your MMR, even you loss, if your stats is high, you can still gain MMR.
Smells like a cheater trying say he has skill in stead of cheating to further perpetuate his cheating

Look, I found the person who thinks anyone who has skill or anyone better than them must be cheating type of person
LEts get this simple:
First no one has ever say a GM cant climb from the bottom to his current rank; the differences in skill even between a GM and a Master it is huge.
Second lets say your rank it is 4100SR, you are telling me you can win at that elo 5vs6? you telling me you can carry at that elo? How good do you perform when you are forced to play a Heroe that is not your main? Have you ever have a game without a healer? or tank, or noob dps? guess what, that is common in low elo: you get either bad dps who are stuck for years and refuse to go tank or healer, or you risk and go without dps or healer, or go tank without a main healer,etc. I have never seen a thing like that even in Diamond.
Those ppl are bronze or maybe gold, how they will carry when they have leavers, throwers, derankers, are they pro like GM? they need time to learn and yes they will climb someday with luck and skills, but you and ppl like you have to understand those ranks Bronze, Silver, Gold and low plat are full or ppl who dont care about their rank, who cant play 2 or 3 chars to make good counters, leavers, Derankers, throwers, full of player taking bad decisions. Do you have smurf at your rank? do you have throwers? you maybe get noobs who are boosted, but those low elo suffer more… They get attack as i said by

How can one force you? I hate people who flex on heroes they cant play when team asks. Just say you cant play the hero. I rather have 4 dps than 2 feeding bot tanks.
