i dont know why blizzard allows this kind of party combination to exist…
assume plat is the top 30% of players…and silver is makes up a base of 50% of the population…the difference between base 50% and top 30% is a world of difference…much the same way that you dont party more than 2 master players into a diamond game.
kind of broken when you can expect that dr disrespect was placed silver and shroud placed plat…totally not broken.
so how much longer does blizzard have to gather stats on this to realize that plat +silver parties is an exploitation of ranked.

Actually Platinum is the average ranking with Mid-High Gold if i’m correct.
Okay though hypothetically i’d see the issue here.

Oh you mean diamond and gold duos in minimum 1/10 of plat games isn’t exploiting? People would never boost! Jk, people just want their partic trophy in form of gaining SR
As someone who queues with two silvers regularly, I’ll admit you are right. I shouldn’t be able to queue with a player who is 999sr away from me because when I’m on point, we create the most imbalanced matches.
I only play tank with them, even though tank is my favorite/best role.
For example, when I am on, our matches go like this:
-
Our most recent match, I played Hog on Junkertown in a donkey stomping. I racked up 4 golds with silver healing, and I died twice.
-
Another match, I had 31 high energy kills as Zarya, with 34 total elims. I think I died once.
-
26-32 player kill streaks
-
78% kill participation as Sigma (a hero I have maybe 3 hours with)
-
20-0 Zarya with 77% average energy
-
33-2 Winston, gold damage.
These are just the few I took snapshot of, but so many of the games go this way.
According to the rules, I’m not doing anything wrong, but you’re right that it’s not really fair. The good news is, though, I’m not always on point.
