I noticed trying to shoot will sometimes fail after using an ability on some heroes.
For instance Mei’s right-click will sometimes not go off when holding it in, after using her ultimate or ice block randomly for no reason. Which has made me sometimes unable to score a kill because I have to re-click the right button after realizing nothing is happening. It’s super annoying when it happens.
I can’t remember if it’s always been like this since OW1, or if it came after OW2.
It happens sometimes. If your using an Upscaler like DLSS or FSR failed inputs happen more frequently unfortunately and will tend to happen with frame gen too. It also could be timing, especially if you’ve takin breaks and stuff.
I don’t know it’s really weird, pretty sure I don’t use any upscaler.
Seems to happen at random, whenever you’re holding down you weapon fire while using an ability or ultimate. I had it happen on other heroes too like Torbjörn etc.
Yeah it’s like the game stops recognize you fire input if it gets interrupted by an ability or ultimate animation when it happens, and you have to re-click with the mouse again to start fire your weapon again.
