Don’t forget some of the heroes in the game have a very horrible head bobble effect when they get stunned making it near impossible to headshot them anyway Zarya being a good example.
It’s quite hard to jump when you’re stunned.
that’s true but have you ever seen what happens when you stun junkrat, Genji during his dash, Doomfist during rocket punch, brigitte before her shield bash.
Also why does moiras fade have a quicker cooldown than McCrees roll? It’s a far superior movement ability in every way.
The power creep slowly begins…
People are going to try to explain to you why it makes sense but it doesn’t.
The forums are biased towards the supports so ofc they think a 5 second cooldown stun is okay if it’s on a tanky 250 health 50 armor, 600 hp shield, self healing support character. If this was on a dps or a tank they’d immediately understand but support…
Brigitte is more or less okay in general but the cooldown on her stun(for how easy it is to hit when in range) is absolutely absurd and the cooldown is most likely going to get toned down unless Blizzard wants to force a Brigitte deathball meta. Since they’re scared to buff Ana it’s unlikely that they do.
Why is McCree literally “Left Click - The hero”?
Bad design that’s why.
Seems like a bit of an overreaction but given who I’m talking to and the arguments you’re espousing, it’s hardly surprising.
Imagine if he had regen health with that damage, just think about that.
Flashbang has a 2m effect radius allowing it to stun all targets within a 4m wide circle. The grenade goes out 5m before detonating making its maximum range 7m. Deals 10 damage to all affected targets. This opens the target up to 140 damage headshots or a up to 270 damage fan the hammer.
Shield Bash moves Brigitte 7m forward, deals 50 damage, can only affect one target. This opens the target up to a 155 damage combo that knocks the target out of melee range.
Power creep isn’t a valid argument? I see it get brought up a lot actually.
You are a biased support main. You will defend this hero no matter what.
Mostly because it’s also Brigitte’s only movement ability, so she has to choose whether to use it for mobility or for stuns.
Also, McCree can aim the flashbang, allowing him to use it on enemies on the High Ground, flying low, Low Ground while he’s on the High Ground. Not to mention it can stun more than one enemy. All in all, it’s far more flexible outside of 1v1s.
Still, I think 5s is too low. I say they do this crazy thing where they make it a double cooldown ability, 5 seconds for the mobility and 3 extra seconds for the stun.
Are you still not finding her weak ?
After some time of playing I find her actually weak. She cannot even deal with what Jeff supposed her to do. She only works with a team that cooperates with her. Otherwise other supports are better, ironically.
No you have to hit the shot not just 140 dmg wtf
Obviously, where did I say otherwise? Come on, I even said “with a headshot”. Wtf indeed.
please stop this
please
I’m sick of seeing so many people blindly defending this hero not understanding how powerful she is
First of all, she can burst any 200 hp or less hero in less than 3 seconds with almost no effort left click left click shield bash is like 1.4 seconds and then either add a left shift when close or 2 more left clicks which is only another 1.2 seconds
Second of all her stun is the most powerful stun in the game atm as its uptime is ridiculous, no other CC tool that’s a stun/trap/hook in the game but doomfists punch are on a CD lower than 8 and there’s a good reason for it, if they were lower they’d be too powerful. This also applies to ms. barrier bypassing shield basher that can delete a 200 hp hero every 7 seconds
“Lol just stay 6 meters away from her” a really great popular defense claim except for the fact that she can travel faster than more than half the cast due to shield bash being on a 5 second CD also teamfights exist, you sorta have to contest points or payloads which if you haven’t guessed already, that means she will be 6 meters away from you and there’s nothing you can do except attempt to kill her
Lastly since people are so fond of defending her shield bash that would be perfectly fine with a hitbox nerf and a CD raise `https://youtu.be/TlQT4Vlq6HQ" please tell me how this is fair and where the counterplay is against this in a teamfight when you’re not pharah thanks, because she can delete supports more consistently than a top 500 widow and just as fast during a teamfight as long as she’s diving with her team
Sorry Tracer main, you’re just going to have to learn how to cope in a game in which you now have a counter. I know, scary right?
Have you tried this yourself? To do the 200-damage combo you need to hit them twice, Shield Bash, hit them again and finish with Whip Shot. That’s 5 seperate instances of damage.
Very easy to pull off on training bots, not so much on an actual player. Get back to me when you can consistently and easily pull off this manoeuvre on a flanking Genji, then I might take you more seriously.
So? You are aware that one stun has to be the most powerful, right? Why not give it to the anti-flanker support?
It’s not fair at all.
Brigitte WILL kill you if you got stun she will spam M1 while following you and you will die same as McCree but 2 times more per game.
And McCree can miss his flashbang
Shield bash can stun more than 1 enemies if they are close together. I’ve done it several times.
Sorry man, didn’t mean to trigger you. No need for name-calling, we’re all adults here. Or so I thought.
Ok I’m gonna need to see some footage of that because hitting a Genji 5 times is not something you are able to do 70% of the time, especially when you factor in Swift Strike, Deflect and his double jump.
I know it can, it’s just not as easy as you think.
The stun is the easy bit. The hard bit is following up with 4 more hits on a deflecting, swift-striking, double-jumping Genji.
Again I have a strong suspicion you’re pulling these statistics right out of your behind. Proof, please.
